Chapter 19

Jen's POV

A month went by and I was working at dog shelter. Jinxx wasn't happy that I wanted to work with animals but it helped me pass the time till Case and Tommy would be here. I only had three more months to wait. 

Each day I would wake up, shower, get dressed. Hang out with Jinxx and the guys. Then head to work. I still haven't gotten my tattoo yet, but I just wanted to save up because I heard that they can be a lot of money. I was walking one of the dogs when I noticed that someone was walking over to me. I looked at the person and noticed that it was Andy. 

"Jen, what are you doing after work?" Andy asked me. 

I stopped walking the puppy and looked at Andy and said, "Why? And what are you even doing here?"

"Well Jinxx wants to do something with you tonight. He tried to text you but you never answered the texts, and I told him I was going by the shelter and he asked me to stop and asked you," Said Andy.

I looked at him and said, "Well nothing. I was just thinking about going back home and work on a story because Case and Tommy have been working their butts off and we haven't been able to talk. So what does Jinxx have planned?"

"I don't know. But he said he would pick you up so no calling a taxi. So I'll call and let Jinxx know. I'll see you later," Andy said and hugged me. 

When he walked away one of the other workers walked over to me. I glanced up and saw that it was Dom, and he looked at me and said, "So that was The Andy?"

"Dom-" I warned. 

Dom Roads was one of the guys I've meet and we would talk a lot. Dom loves all kids of music just like me. Yet he's also gay and he knows everything about someone just by looking at them. Dom looked at me and then over at Andy.

"Girl I can tell that you like him and he likes you to," Said Dom.

"No, your wrong. Andy just broke up with his girlfriend about a month ago. And yes I like him, but only as a friend," I told him.

"Do you or don't you? You like him like him. And he likes you the same way," Dom told me.

"Your wrong, and where is my cell phone?" I asked him.

"In your locker. Also I know that you and Andy will end up together, even after everything you been though. I can tell that he doesn't care about what those scars says about you," Said Dom.

I fron and looked at him and said, "How did you know?"

"Jen I know things remember. But don't worry baby I won't tell anyone about those marks. So we good," Asked Dom.

"We're good," I told him. 

We finished walking the dogs and Amy the owner of the shelter walked over to us and she didn't look happy at all. 

"Jen I've told you before no boyfriends allowed to come in here unless they want a dog," Amy told me. 

Amy was white but she has a Mexican background and she was pretty cool unless someone walked into the shelter that she didn't like. 

I sighed and looked at her and said, "Sorry, my brother tried calling my cell and I was out walking one of the dogs. His friend Andy happened to drive by and he stopped to ask me a question for my brother. I'm sorry it won't happen again. My brother is a little over protective of me and if I don't answer he tends to send one of his friends to check on me if he's busy."
