Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Jen's POV

I sat back down and said, "I don't remember much of my childhood. But I remember what happened after my dad died. When I was allowed to go home, everything changed. Daddy wasn't there, she was drunk, and she blamed me. She hit me for a long time. When she was done, I went to my room changed clothes and cleaned myself up. She smashed my phone that night, she told me once the funeral was over, that the next day we were leaving and that I couldn't tell anyone. Since then, I've been lost, and I turned to music for help. Then when she and I moved here and that was when I met Case. Case has been a lot of help. It was about a year ago that she asked if I was related to Jinxx from Black Veil Brides, at the time I didn't know who she was talking about, then she showed me a picture of who she was talking about. She also said that your name was Jeremy Ferguson. I said that I have or did have a cousin by that name. Case asked me what I meant by that, and I told her everything. Everything that I have gone though she knows the truth."

I stopped and got up and walked over to the window and said, "My mother died the very same day as my father. Everything was taken from me. I hated myself and my life. Twice I tried to run away but somehow the cops managed to find me and bring me back to my mother. I started to run away at the age of 14 and I tried again and again until I faced the truth that I wouldn't be able to get away from her until now."

I couldn't bring myself to tell him about how many journals have stories of different ways that I would try and kill myself. Or what else my mother had put me though or had done to me. Case knows everything and there were things I wasn't ready to share just yet. When I looked at Case she gave and a look saying that I didn't tell him everything. I looked at her and nodded my head.

"Jen what else happened?" Jinxx asked me.

"I'm sorry this was a mistake. I need to go," I got up and tried to leave the room but before I could get to the door, Jinxx grabbed me and pulled me to him and held me and he said, "Jen please tell me."
