In the dark jungle, where shadows prevail,
Surviving together, with a fearful exhale,
Whispers of wind, the only sound we hear,
Monsters lurking, awakening our deepest fear.
Lost in the abyss, we navigate the night,
Holding onto hope, with all our might,
But he pushes me away, consumed by dread,
Fear of blame, a love so easily shredded.
Through dense foliage, we trudge side by side,
But his trembling heart, cannot confide,
Haunted by demons, he chooses to roam,
Leaving me stranded, in this jungle alone.
In the eerie silence, memories replay,
Once vibrant and alive, now fading grey,
I try to grow, but I'm trapped in the past,
A prisoner of demise, with dreams that won't last.
