Being in here did not feel right anymore. Knowing that she was the girl who I got fired years ago, made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The guilt overpowered me at the moment. No eye contact could be made between us. Actually, I couldn't look her in the eyes. Her, on the other hand, seemed like she was confident enough to do so.

While she going over the rules, I felt like she was throwing an indirect here and there. By the way she was looking at me, she was definitely still butt hurt. How was I supposed to stay in this class? There was no way. In revenge, she was probably going to fail me. I couldn't afford that, this was my last school year and had to pass this class in order to graduate.

My mind was set, after class I was planning on going to the office to switch out of this class. Hopefully there were more English classes available. For sure there were but hopefully they weren't completely filled.

Even if all the classes were filled, maybe someone would switch classes with me. Come on, Ms. LoVecchio was freakin' hot, I'm sure anyone would be willing to have her as their teacher. Too bad for me, I would have enjoyed the sexy view everyday. Although, it was kind of awkward now that I knew she was the same teacher who I got fired.

Truthfully, five years ago, Ms. LoVecchio looked like a grown woman. To me she did. Now that I was seeing her again, she still looked grown but not too much. In my eyes, she was not just a lady anymore. She was a young lady now. Now I understood what my father meant when he said that in my eyes she looked older.
The flashback came back to me.

"Riley, in your eyes she looks older because you're barely a twelve year old kid," my dad stated. "But to us, she's practically still very young, very teenage like," he explained.

Of course, it made sense now. My view on things had changed over the years because I had grown and matured. And like I said, Ms. LoVecchio didn't even look her age, she appeared to be younger.

"There will be no acting up in class," she air quoted. "Don't let peer pressure push you over the limits," her eyes glanced at me. Yup, she was throwing that one towards me. While she went on, I played with my bracelet, as a distraction. "Miss Cavanaugh, pay attention," she demanded. I looked around my desk, and saw how others were somewhat distracted too but she didn't say anything to them?

Of course, most of the ones who were distracted were straight girls. Everyone else was checking her out.

"Sorry," I decided on playing it safe. I couldn't afford to get in trouble. I had changed my ways after sixth grade. Now I was a student with a 4.0 GPA. I figured that I didn't need to be dumb in order to be popular. Both were possible.

"Uh-huh, sure," she muttered under breath. What the hell? I was being respectful. Sorry but Ms. LoVecchio needed to be professional and stop being spiteful. Five years had passed since the incident. How could she still hold a grudge that long? Besides, I was a kid back then. I was thirteen, I wasn't really aware of how idiotic I was being.

As an eighteen year old, I now understood that I was out of line and committed a terrible mistake. Yes, I deserved to be punished for it but not in class. It would be really messed up if Ms. LoVecchio decided to jeopardize my senior year. No, I couldn't allow it. Seriously, I needed to switch out of this class.

"Alright class, make sure to get these signed by your parents as soon as possible," Ms. LoVecchio was passing them out. "Otherwise you won't be allowed to watch certain films in class," she explained. There was a smile that lit up her eyes. Once she reached my desk, it disappeared. It changed into a serious one. Instead of handing me the paper sheets, she dropped them on my desk. Playing it safe, I let it go.

"What kind of films?" someone asked, sounding intrigued by it.

I took one sheet and passed the rest behind me.
