Not even the slut of Karen and the bitch of gorilla could ruin my mood. The thought of Mia had me smiling like a fool. Laying on the couch, my eyes stayed closed as I imagined her here with me. Resting on top of me. Ah, I wanted her here, badly. Needed to feel her presence. Wanted to see her curves, wanted to feel her soft lips pressed against my neck. My body quivered as I imagined and almost even felt the heat of her body intertwined with mine.
Pretending like it was her, I hugged a cushion. My eyes remained closed as I imagined her kissing me. Luckily, I stopped myself from making out with the cushion.
The witches were nearby and I didn't want to give them an excuse to tease me. Those people would take advantage of anything.
"Get your stinky feet off the couch," gorilla scoffed and pushed my feet off. What the hell? Why couldn't she ever stay out of my way? This wasn't even her house, she was an intruder! "The whole couch doesn't belong to you," she flipped me off.
Oh that finger of hers, I so wanted to cut it off. Either that or I was going to go all The Walking Dead on her. Bite off her finger, just like Rick bit off that man's neck at the end of season four. That episode was badass!
"Little girl, either calm your ass down or I'll be forced to do it myself," I threatened. Honestly, I had no problem with it. My hands balled into fists, ready to beat her ass.
"I dare you," she challenged. Woah? Did she not know who she was messing with? I watched all of the Rocky Balboa movies. Fuck, I could beat up anyone in my sleep.
"Oh, you wanna see?" I jumped onto my feet.
"Touch her and you'll regret it," ugh! Karen showed up. Uh huh, so gorilla needed her mommy to defend her. See, this was when I wished my mom were here.
Turning around, I snorted, "Well she started it!" I crossed my arms.
"I don't care," oh, she returned the attitude. "Don't mess with my daughter. You're no longer the owner of anything. This is my house now," she claimed. I looked her up and down, in disbelief. I couldn't believe my ears. My eyes flickered.
The door bell rung.
"I'll get it," gorilla shoved me aside when she walked past me. Still speechless, I didn't retaliate. "Hey lady, you can't just walk in like that," I heard gorilla yelling at someone.
"Watch me," the person laughed, mockingly. That voice. It sounded extremely familiar.
Karen hurried to the door. Even though I felt curious, I stayed in the living room.
"Excuse me, who gave you permission to come into my home?" Karen questioned. She was still in my vision area.
Karen walked backwards, as if trying to stop the person from walking in further.
"You're home?" the voice laughed again. That laugh! There was no doubt now, it was my mom! Just then, she walked in, confirming it. Mom looked Karen up and down, as if she were nothing. "No, this is not your home. This real owner of this house is me," and just like that, with a firm and strong posture, mom reclaimed. Held her head up high. You see, my mom was a well respected woman with class. Unlike Karen.
"Mom!" I ran to her and tightly hugged her. Oh god, I missed her so much! It had been so long ago since I last saw her in person. My eyes got watery, I felt a lump in my throat. This was one of the happiest moments in my life.
"Mom?" I heard Karen chew on it.
"Riley, sweetie," my mom's hold was the safest and warmest embrace ever! A happy tear escaped my eye when she kissed my cheek and forehead.
