"Whoa, whoa, Nance." Steve yelled out as Riley opened the door to his car the older boy walking after Nancy who was going in the opposite direction to them, "Where you going."

"Oh, there's just something I wanna check first."

"Something you maybe wanna share with the rest of us?" Dustin called out from where he stood besides Riley.

"I don't want to waste your time. It's a real shot in the dark."

"Yeah okay. Are you out of your mind? Flying solo with this Vecna creep on the loose." Steve shook his head walking towards her, "No, it's too dangerous. you need... you need someone to..." He turned around chucking his keys to Robin, "I'll stick with Nance. You guys take the car, check out the shrink."

"I don't think you want me driving your car."

"Why?"

"I don't have a license."

"Why don't you have a license."

"I'm... poor."

"I can drive." Max spoke up.

"No, Max your never driving me anywhere ever again." Riley turned to face the girl who glared back at her.

"No, anyone but you. No." Riley watched amused as Dustin looked towards him hopefully only to be immediately shot down, "No chance."

"Come on." Dustin groaned, "Why not."

"All right this is stupid." Robin walked forwards grabbing the spare walkie talkie out of Dustin's bag and chucking the keys back to Steve, "Us ladies will stick together. Unless.." She smiled turning to face Steve, "You think we need you to protect us."

Steve stood in silence watching as they walked away from him, "Be careful!"

"So are we going to be going any time soon or..." Riley broke the silence raising her eyebrows at her brother.

"You just gonna stand there and gawk?" Dustin laughed the two of them ignoring the look he was sending the pair.

"Shut up. Just get in the car." He grabbed Riley right before she was about to sit besides Dustin in the back seat, instead pushing her towards the passenger seat glaring at Dustin as he did so.

"Steve." Riley turned towards him annoyed, he shushed her, pushing her lightly so she was looking out towards the window.

"Nope, you two are in time out." Riley went to argue with him but he cut her off, "For rest of the day you are not allowed near each other."

"You can't put us in time out." Dustin exclaimed poking his head between the two seats, Max laughed when he was harshly pushed backwards.

"Watch me." He turned the key in the engine muttering unhappily to himself, "Always the babysitter. Always the god damn babysitter!" Riley turned to look out the window folding her arms over her chest glaring at Steve out of the corner of her eye every few seconds.

"Okay she's in..." Steve said, pointing out the obvious as they watched Max enter Ms Kelley's house.

"I'm missing collarbones, not eyes." Dustin replied before leaning further forwards so he could see the two siblings, smiling at Riley before looking towards Steve, "So we gonna talk about it?"

"Huh?" Steve looked at him confused, "Talk about what?"

"Your temporary insanity earlier today when you basically threw yourself at Nance?"

Riley nodded in agreement, "It was hard to watch. I thought you were over her, I mean you broke with her and then you spent like a whole year whining about it to me. I don't want to have to go through that again. There's only so long I can go on pretending to care about your love life."
