The highlight of this match was definitely the partnership between KL and Rohit, as well as our bowling group's performance. There is something very enjoyable about watching bowlers bat, and Bumrah with a bat is just a delight. Also, can we talk about how KL's keeping and Kuldeep's bowling just keeps getting better with each game! It is so good to have Harsha Bhogle back in the comm box, his commentary makes certain moments so iconic, I still remember the last 5 overs of IND vs PAK at the MCG, and I can almost hear him deliver those lines. Also the Ro-Jaddu hug was so sweet.

Team India did it once in the final of the Asia Cup but it wasn't enough so we did a replay in the WC league stage. What a performance, India bats first gets 357, and gets SL out for just 55! In this match, Shubman, Virat, and Shreyas really batted their hearts out and got us such a big score, not to forget the cameo by Jaddu, and SKY. Bumrah got a wicket on the first ball and then Shami grabbed two in the next over is what got us such a big win. Once we had their top 4 the other wickets were bound to follow. The memes from this match are just something else, from the Ishan Shub Karwa Chauth memes to the Virat Kohli picture in the bottom right corner screaming "So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow!" the memes have been top-class.

And now to the King's birthday match! Honestly, before the game, I was a bit on edge, I just didn't want our boys to lose the winning streak, especially on Virat's birthday. But the way India dominated SA the team that is second on the table and has destroyed the other teams, we really dominated them. 83 all out is shocking given the form SA was playing in. But our boys did really well, from the explosive start from Rohit to Shreya's 77 and Virat's century the batting did its job and then our bowling came in and cleaned up their entire batting order. Sir Jadeja with the fifer was exceptional, along with his spin twin, Kuldeep, Shami, and Bumrah. Virat not only gifted himself a century on his birthday but also gave the fans a return gift. Last match we got a Ro-Jaddu hug, in this match we got Vi-Jaddu hug I hope we get a trio hug soon.

I think I enjoyed this match a little too much, but how could I not I literally got to watch everything! Let's start with batting every batter who came scored at least a 50 (except Surya he only played one ball but was not out with an SR of 200 😂)The start from the top order is what allowed Shreyas and KL to launch their attack and their 100s were a sight to see. The bowling, oh where do I start? Let's start with our regular 5, I feel like a broken record but as usual, our bowlers were economical and bowled well. And now to the highlight, our wrong-footed inswinging menace, and our right-handed off break getting wickets was just mindblowing! watching Surya and Shubman bowl was fun too but watching RohiRat bowl just felt too special. Also, can we talk about how cute Ritika and Anushka's reactions were to watch their husbands bowl and get a wicket each! Another moment I found cute was the Rahul Dravid moment when they were mentioning his stats and he just raised his hand in appreciation, and everyone around him just shared a nice laugh.

I thought I wrote about Siraj's performance in the SL and NZ match but looks like I didn't include it, so here we go. Siraj has been absolutely phenomenal this tournament, there have been so many games when he has given us a breakthrough or taken a wicket in crucial times. He may not be the highest wicket-taker according to stats but we know how important his role has been, on the days that he hasn't taken as many wickets he has helped create pressure and has helped the other bowlers get wickets. Every time he steps on the field to bowl you can see the aggression in his eyes and his celebration of getting a wicket shows his mindset and approach. He bowls to get breakthroughs and helps the team get closer to wins. He has gone wicketless in only two games out of the nine he played but in every game he has given his all be it bowling or fielding. I wish him all the best for the semis and hope he continues to bowl beautifully.

The online content is going strong IPL teams and content creators are just giving us so much joy and content to cherish. Some of the posts from the IPL team handles are just so funny, like the Kuldeep aap Mumbai aa sakhthe hai one was hilarious, and the Shreyas one was also funny.
Now onto the semis
I am a little scared, the haunting memories from the last WC semi scare me, but the boys will hopefully pull through. Our team has been doing amazing and all the wins behind us would give us lots of confidence. The bowling, as well as the batting, looks really good, we just have to give our best tomorrow to win it. NZ is a solid team when it's their day they can outperform anyone, but I hope the day they outperform is NOT tomorrow, I really hope and believe that tomorrow will be our day and our boys will win the semis against NZ, once we get to the finals I think we will be unstoppable. All I want to say is GOOD LUCK TEAM INDIA, Let's win the semis and hopefully bring the cup home!

The league stage of the World Cup is over and now it's time for the business end of the tournament as experts like to say it. The league stage has been amazing I just hope the semis and finals also go well and in TEAM INDIA'S favor!
