| Y/N's POV |
I looked at Billie expectantly, watching as she took a deep breath before explaining. "I was struggling. Before you moved here, it was really hard to maintain a home or even afford food. Finding a job was so hard without a college degree or without a good credit score." Billie started as I crossed my arms, listening intently. "I was in desperate need of cash. I would do anything, anything. So, Hailee found me and gave me an offer."
"What offer, Bill?" I asked, trying to urge her on more which worked.
"To join her mafia crew." My eyes went wide as she continued. "I was supposed to start out as her drug dealer, going around to earn extra money for her but I moved up the ranks and now I'm her assistant. Her right hand man. Alongside her brother." I looked away from her, shock filling my body. "I didn't have a choice and now because of her... I have a luxurious apartment and I can afford any kind of food I want."
"This is illegal, Billie!" I shout, standing up. I look at her wide eyes. She opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out. "So what? She works for a mafia boss?"
"No." A voice interrupted us, walking in as our heads snapped towards them. "I am the boss." They stepped into the light and only then did I realize it was Hailee. "Billie works for me." She smirked, walking towards us. She was wearing a black suit with combat boots and her blazer open.
"Look, Y/N, I wanted to tell you but-"
"But nothing." I stop Billie, looking at her with a look of betrayal on my face. "You've been lying to me. For years." She tried to reach out to me but I stopped her. "Just leave me alone. I need time."
Billie nodded in understanding, giving me a look of regret and leaving the room. I sit on the mattress, holding my head in my hands as I think about everything Billie told me. I notice that Hailee is still there, leaning against the door, staring at me.
"What? What do you want?" I snap at her, glaring hard but she didn't say anything. She started to smirk as she kept her gaze on me. "Are you ever going to let me go?"
"No." She immediately answered, leaving the door as she walked over to me. "Why don't we talk?" Hailee offered her hand to me. Why should I trust her? Do I really want to hear what she has to say?
Yes. I kinda do. I contemplate for a few more seconds before hesitantly taking her hand. Hailee smirked, pulling me up and holding my hand tightly, pulling me out of my room. She led me down a series of halls, every single one looked familiar so it'd be almost impossible to break out of here.
We finally stop by a big, wooden door. Hailee keeps ahold of my hand, her other hand pulling out a key in her pocket. She used that to unlock the door, pushing it open. I follow her inside, watching as she flips a light on to reveal the entire room. It was huge, and it looked like a combination of an office and a living room.
She guided me over to the giant desk, signaling me to take a seat in the chair. I slowly sat down, watching as the taller woman opened up a cabinet behind the desk, pulling out a bottle of whiskey and a pack of cigarettes with a lighter. Hailee set everything down in front of me, she then reached down below the desk, pulling out two shot glasses.
"Care for a drink?" She asks, and I shake my head causing her to tilt hers. "Why not?"
"I'm not of age yet." I whisper, suddenly feeling shy and anxious arohnd Hailee's presence. Especially after finding out she's a Mafia boss.
"Mm. Shame." Hailee shrugs, pouring herself a shot glass. She falls back into her own chair with a sigh, unbuttoning the shirt she was wearing, her blazer was already long gone, resting on a hook near the entrance. Her tie was undone, hanging around her neck as she lit a cigarette, taking a long drag from it.
"What do you want from me?" I finally ask, breaking the silence as she looks at me for a moment, exhaling the smoke out and I watch it linger in the room. The smell of it making me feel sick.
"That's a good question." Hailee hummed, not exactly answering my question as she dodged it, putting her cigarette out in the ash tray next to her. Her hand reached for the shot glass, consuming the alcohol in one gulp. "Tell me about yourself." The woman stated, standing up from her chair as she began undressing herself. Her tie was thrown off from around her neck and her button down was completely undone, revealing the black lacy be underneath. Her abs were the only thing catching my attention right now as she removed her belt as well.
"Why should I?" I snap back, remembering not to give in so easily. Hailee glanced at me, chuckling for a moment. She walked around her desk, moving to stand in front of my chair as she leaned back against it.
"You're so pretty." She whispered after a long silence, her finger hooking under my chin as her eyes raked over every inch of my body. I gulped under her gaze, it was so intense, and her eyes were black with just. "I want you."
"What makes you think you can just have me?" I growl, standing up as well. Hailee laughs again, her arm snaking around my waist and pulling me into her body making me gasp softly as her other hand landed on my hip, slowly caressing its way down my thigh.
"Let me change your mind then." Hailee smirked, flipping us around so I was pressed up against her desk now. I whimpered, I shouldn't be doing this, it felt so wrong but why did it feel so good at the same time? I couldn't help but nod at her offer, making Hailee's smirk widen as her hand slipped under my shirt. "Perfect." She breathed out.
What have I gotten myself into?
