| Y/N's POV |

After multiple attempts of trying to sleep after my encounter with Hailee last night, it was hard at first, but eventually I managed to get some sleep last night. My eyes were red and puffy from the amount of tears I shed, my cheeks were stained with them, and Hailee's hoodie that I was wearing was covering in my snot and tears. I couldn't help but break down last night, cuddling myself in bed.

How different would my life be if I never moved here in the first place? Better? Worse than my current situation? I sat up in bed, pulling my hood over my head as I wiped my eyes with the sleeves of my hoodie. The door was suddenly thrown open, two big men walked in alongside Hailee, the men rushing to clean up the glass from the lamp from last night. Hailee stopped at the foot of my bed, not bothering to look at me as she placed a set of brand new clothes on the edge. I noticed that she also put a toothbrush, toothpaste, a hairbrush, and some pain medicine. The men who cleaned the glass were already out the room, my lamp was now replaced.

"Might want this for your throat." Hailee said, setting down a cup of what looked like tea. "That medicine is for your neck too, so don't forget to take it." She ordered and didn't even spare me one glance before making her way out the door again.

I sniffled, rubbing my nose as I stand up, looking at the clothes she gave me. They were all hers again. She gave me a baggy Nirvana shirt with a baggy grey hoodie and some sweats. She even gave me a fresh pair of underwear and a brand new bra. I glanced up, looking at the light in the bathroom. I grab the toothbrush and toothpaste, making my way inside as I let out a shaky sigh.

Hailee confuses me. She's making me more confused then the time it took me to discover I was gay.

I closed my eyes for a moment, leaning against the sink. I suddenly felt two warm hands on my shoulders, causing me to jump up as I quickly turn around to see who it was.

Hailee.

"Didn't mean to scare you." She whispered, retracting her hands to her sides as she looked at the ground.

"I-It's okay." I stutter, my voice was shaky, and I'm guessing she sensed that. For some reason, she looked... nervous?

"Ugh I-" Hailee exhaled sharply, finally meeting my eyes as she leaned against the door. "Fuck, I'm sorry." She breathed out quickly, resting her hands on her hips. "I'm sorry, okay? About your neck, about everything."

"Hailee-"

"Just let me finish before I regret this." Hailee looked at me, running a hand through her hair as she sighed again. "That question you asked yesterday really triggered me, and I've never felt, what's the word again? Remorse? Guilt... guilt! I've never felt more guilt in my life before when my hand left that print on your neck." She took a step towards me and I didn't move, getting too lost in her hazel eyes. "I'm so fucking sorry."

I could tell she was, her eyes, for once, were filled with genuine sincerity. I took a step towards her, slowly reaching up to cup her cheek. I could tell she was hesitant, she flinched away at first before relaxing into my touch. I could tell she's never been touched like this before. She closed her eyes, and I gently pushed our foreheads together. Hailee looked like she was about to pull away but I just kept her close, my hand moved to her bicep, pulling her slightly towards me a little more.

She was uncomfortable, clearly, but only because she's never had this kind of touch before. This softness, I don't think she's ever experienced it. Hailee's arm very hesitantly, wrapped around my waist, making me smile a little as she finally pressed my body against hers. She tensed up at first,  immediately relaxing when my hand moved from her bicep to the back of her neck, using my thumb to gently rub it.

"I forgive you." I finally whisper, my voice soft and quiet as she lets out a shaky sigh of relief. "I forgive you, Hailee." It seemed like those were the only words she needed to hear before completely melting into me, I just held the taller woman though, knowing that this moment brought comfort to the both of us.
