| Y/N's POV |
"Hailee..." I rest a comforting hand on her shoulder, sitting down next to her on the bed. She rested her face in her hands, letting out a shaky breath. "Talk to me, baby."
"I wish that I would've stopped him in time." Hailee grumbled and removed her hands off her face, looking at me with a vulnerable look in her eyes. "So that Billie could be here."
My gaze softened, letting out a sigh, I grabbed her hands, moving to crouch down in front of her. "Look at me." Hailee hesitantly lifted her head up, making eye contact with me. "You did everything you could. You saved me, and you tried your best for Billie. That was all you could do. Nobody blames you, okay?"
"But I- okay." Hailee cut herself off, sighing and resting her head on my chest after falling to the ground with me, wrapping her arms around my torso tightly.
"Let's not bring the mood down on your birthday, okay? Come on, how about some dinner?" I suggest, running a hand through her hair, a small smile gracing my lips.
"Yeah." Hailee pulled away, nodding her head. "I'd like that."

"Thank you for such a great day, my love. This is probably one of the first birthdays, I actually enjoyed." Hailee said to me as we got ready for bed. She plopped down in bed, watching me as I brushed my teeth in the bathroom. "You're the only one who's really given me a birthday. Well..."
"Well, what?" I ask as I wash out my mouth, drying my face with a towel. I turn to Hailee who stares at her hands, fiddling with her fingers.
"Billie... gave me a birthday last year." She blurted out and I froze in my spot, slowly putting the towel back down on the sink. I walked over to Hailee, sitting on the bed, across from her, gesturing her to continue. "I turned 26 and she uh took me out for a night on the town. We went to a private bar, got drunk off our asses, and we told each other things. Things we never told anyone before, and that night, that night was the first time I realized that Billie was an actual friend." Hailee explained, her voice only getting softer and quieter as she continued the story. "She was the first person I told about my childhood. And in return, she told me about you."
"She did?" I asked dumbfounded, shock and surprise was filling my body as I stared at the brunette.
"Yeah." Hailee nodded, grabbing one of my hands gently, I let her with a soft smile. "She uh told me everything about you. She described you as if you were perfection. And then she said, "she's my best friend and I'd do anything for her. I swear she's my platonic soulmate." I don't think she's ever cared for someone like she did for you." She glanced at me, giving me a soft look and I noticed the slight watery look her eyes. "She showed me what you looked like and I won't lie, you were beautiful." I blushed at her words, moving to sit next to her. Hailee wrapped an arm around my shoulders, pulling me close as I played with the rings on her fingers.
"I asked about your personality and she explained everything to me. I was falling for someone I've never even met before." The hazel eyes girl continued, leaning her head down on mine. "Billie was amazing, through and through. She loved you and in someway, ever since that night, I began to really understand her."
"Billie was amazing." I added, moving to sit in her lap, wrapping one arm around her neck. "At first, I was so mad that she was involved in this business, but now that I think about, you guys should've had more time together."
"Me too." Hailee quickly wiped her eyes before anything could fall, kissing the top of my head. "I know that this can't be easy for you either. I've only known her for two years but you... you've known her your whole life."
"Yeah. I mean, it's kinda hard to accept but I feel like she's in a better place now. And she died for me and you." I suck in a shaky breath, Hailee brushing her hands through my hair. "We do need to start planning her funeral though. She deserves the best."
"Yeah." Hailee nodded, pulling my head closer to her chest, making me close my eyes in content. "I'll get Gerald on it right away." She whispered and I rubbed her chest, hearing her sigh softly. "For now, I just wanna sleep."
"Well, I mean we can do that but..." I trailed off, moving to straddle Hailee, her eyes immediately opening. "I did promise you birthday sex." I smirked as her interest peaked, her hands now moving to roam my body. "Do you still want that or are you too tired?"
"Oh, I'm wide awake." She smirked and flipped our positions, pinning me to the bed with a seductive chuckle. I look up at her, our breathing picking up. "Now... where to start?" She teased.
But I wasn't having that.
"How about right..." I grabbed her hand, running it down my body, allowing her to feel me before dipping it into my pants, pressing her palm against my covered center. "Here."
"Fuck yeah, baby." Hailee licked her lips, attacking my neck with kisses as she began palming me, making me groan. "I'm going to make you feel so good."
"It's your birthday, why don't I, fuck, pleasure you?" I grunt out, Hailee chuckled in my neck, her tongue slipping out to lick down my collarbone.
"No, because my only wish, is to fuck your brains out." The brunette grinned above me, biting her bottom lip. "And I promise... you won't walk tomorrow. Or next week."
"Holy fuck!"
