| Y/N's POV |
Hailee traced shapes mindlessly on my back, her fingertips dancing over my soft skin as I listened to her heartbeat, feeling her breathe in and out slowly and calmly. I looked up at her, her eyes were filled with vulnerability, her eyes were expressing all her feelings without words. I could tell by the way she was staring at the ceiling. I smiled at the adorable look on her face, reaching my hand up to hook my finger under her chin, making her look at me.
"What's going on in that pretty head of yours?" I ask, poking her cheek playfully causing her smile very slightly, letting it fall quicker than it appeared. "Hey... what's wrong?" I notice her behavior, furrowing my brows at Hailee.
Hailee shrugged, her hand movements never stopping. "Just thinking..." She whispered softly, "Is it weird that I want to be with you wherever you are?" She laced our fingers together, placing a delicate kiss on the back of my hand, making me smile. "Stay here, honey, I don't want to share." Hailee glanced down at me, letting out a long breath as she looked back at the ceiling.
"I've been yours from the start, Hails." I state, raising a brow as I sit up, straddling her waist, resting my hands on her chest. "Even if you did kidnap me." I joked, eliciting a chuckle from us both. "But seriously, there's no way you can turn me away now. You're too special." I kiss her forehead.
Hailee let out a shaky sigh, holding my hand tighter than before. "Do you want to... go on a date with me... tonight?" She slowly asked, piecing the right words together as I smiled, cupping her face, giving her big, long kiss on her lips, feeling her melt against me.
"Yes, Steinfeld. I will go on a date with you." I winked and Hailee smiled, shaking her head with a relieved sigh, resting her chin on my shoulder, her eyes closed in content.

"Hailee, no offense, but have you actually ever went on a date before?" Flo asked me as I skimmed through my closet, the blonde sitting on my bed as I search for the perfect outfit to wear for Y/N and I's date tonight.
"Uh no..." I trailed off in a squeaky voice, something I did when I was nervous. Flo was concerned, since I was never nervous. "But, I'll figure it out."
"You know you don't have sex on a first date right?" She stated, raising a brow knowingly as I turn to her with wide, questioning eyes. "Ugh, Hailee." The blonde stood up, approaching me as she put her hands on my shoulders. "No sex. Take her somewhere nice, don't keep her stuck here in this stuffy, old mansion." Flo grimaced.
I shake my head, moving out of her grip. "It's not that old." I scoff, looking back at my closet.
"You need help." Flo ordered, standing beside me. "Hey, why don't you take her up to the coast? Watch the sunset with her, have a picnic up on the cliff, maybe even stargaze in the back of your Jeep?" She suggested, the ideas running through my head. "Here." She grabbed a white collared shirt, grabbing on of my red ties as well. "Find some pants and just put a leather jacket over this. Oh! And wear your combat boots, they look good." She instructed to me, her words were quick as she left my bedroom.
I stared at the door for a good moment, sighing under my breath as I looked over the outfit she gave me. I snatched my black jeans and began changing.

"Billie, I don't see why you're against me going out with her." I scoff at my, I don't even know who she is to me anymore, her words were starting to annoy me.
"Hailee is dangerous." Billie emphasized, following me into my room, shutting the door so Hailee wouldn't hear us down the hall. "She's not only a drug dealer, but a mafia boss! Did your brain randomly forget she kidnapped you?!"
"And did your brain seem to forget how you betrayed me?" I snap back, craning my neck in her direction as Billie stands there in silence. "You knew she was dangerous, why are you even in this business in the first place?"
"Because... I-I needed help."
"We all need help, Billie." I open the door, holding it open as I look at the girl. "But you knew there were more safer options than this. And now I'm roped up in it, so why not make the most of it, yeah?" She didn't move, her feet freezing as she stood in the middle of my room. I sighed, shutting the door and resting my back against it. "I like Hailee, Bill. I'm sorry, but I can't help who I fall for. I've been through so much, I lost my parents, I lost you." Her eyes drop to the ground. "Why can't I have this? Don't I deserve someone who treats me well?"
"Y/N, Hailee's never dated in her entire life." Billie whispered, looking back up at me, biting her lip. "Are you sure about this? Because the moment you say 'yes' to being hers, you say 'yes' to her entire operation she has going on?"
"Billie." I grab her hand, keeping eye contact with her. "I just want to live the life I never got to have. I'm 20, I don't want to worry about the future just yet, I want to focus on the now. And right now, I have a date with Hailee."
Billie sighed, scratching the back of her neck as she took my words in. After a moment, she spoke, "Can I just tell you one thing then? And then you can be on your merry way to Hailee?" She smirked at the last sentience but her voice was serious.
I smiled slightly for a moment before nodding. "Hailee's 26." Billie deadpanned, my jaw dropping.
"What?!"
