Hailee's POV
"Ma'am, ma'am, ma'am!" My assistant, Gerald, came running in, Billie slowly walking behind him, her confusion matched mine when I looked at her, silently asking her what would of gotten the young boy all worked up. "It's an emergency!" He yelled, yanking my collar in distress. I shoved him back, Gerald falling to ground but Billie helped him up as I adjusted my collar, glancing off to see in my bedroom, Y/N, sleeping peacefully in my bed.
I sigh, pinching the bridge of my nose as I signal Gerald to shut up, walking over to the door, I close it gently, not wanting to wake the Y/H/C girl up.
"Continue." I breathed out quietly, looking down at Gerald who nodded, scrambling to his feet as I looked at him expectantly.
"Graves." He mumbled, my arms crossing at his words as I felt my expression go cold. "He's coming to pay a visit. He heard about Y/N..." Gerald whispered, pointing to the door Y/N was in, I glanced at it, feeling my protective side overcome me as I shove past Gerald, pushing past to rush downstairs, Billie following me.
"Hailee." She stopped me, grabbing my wrist but I stopped, yanking my arm away from her. The woman sighed under her breath. "What're going to do to Graves? You and I both know you'd kill him for Y/N."
"I'm going to kill him." I shrug, racing to get back downstairs again but Billie was quick to jump in front of me, causing me to groan.
"You can't." She shook her head, looking at me with wide, warning eyes. "There's something going on between Graves and Y/N."
"What do you mean?" I ask, and when Billie didn't answer, I shoved her against the wall. "What the fuck does Donovan want with Y/N? Did he hurt her?"
Before she could answer my questions, we heard soft footsteps being placed all over the floor where my bedroom stood, Y/N, appearing in the doorframe, looking down at me shyly as me and Billie stood at the bottom of the staircase. The situation didn't look good, considering I am holding Eilish up against the wall, threatening her for information about Y/N and Graves.
"Babe? Bill?" She walked down the steps, instead of just wearing my shirt, she had some sweats on as well and a pair of cozy socks with her slip on sneakers. "What's going on? Why is Billie shoved against the wall? Why is Hailee so angry? Why is Gerald freaking out and having a mental breakdown in the middle of your office? Why does Billie look like she's going to shit her pants?" She continued to question which made Billie and I share a look of confusion, I slowly let the younger woman go, walking up a few steps to reach Y/N. "And why are you looking at me like that? Did I do something wrong? I just woke up from a nap and-" I cut her off with a long kiss on her forehead, holding her in my arms, stopping her adorable rambling.
"No, you didn't do anything wrong." I whisper, stroking the back of her neck gently with my thumb, she looked up at me. "I just have something to take care of and I need you to stay here with Billie, she'll protect you." Y/N opened her mouth to speak but I cut her off again, cupping her cheeks. "Just stay here. I'll be back." I order and she nods reluctantly. I turn to look at Billie who nodded.
"Yep. Watch Y/N, got it, Haiz." She gave me a thumbs up and a small smile, walking up to stand beside Y/N. I give her a solemn nod, looking at Y/N one last time before kissing the back of her hand and leaving her.
I had to go stop Graves from whatever he's planning. If Y/N's involved, it's not good.
Y/N's POV
Since Hailee left, Billie and I haven't been doing much but playing with the dog, sneaking away to play Hailee's PlayStation, getting something to eat, and watching tv. There wasn't much to do, we were already bored. "Hey, I'll be right back. I think I heard something outside, I'm just going to check real quick." Billie stated to me, nodding to the backyard sliding door. I nodded, eating some popcorn as I continued to watch the movie.
Suddenly I heard a scream, making me jump up as the sound soon became muffled. I grab my jacket, putting it on with my shoes as I turn the tv off. "Billie?" I call out softly, fear in my tone as I slowly approach the doors. "Bill? Hailee?" I ask again, receiving no response, just as I step outside, my eye sight is blocked, and a mask is placed over my nose, causing me to breathe in something that effectively... knocked me out.
3rd Person POV
Y/N woke up slowly, groaning when she felt the cold chains restraining her against the chair, the room was completely dark, nothing but the light bulb above her filled the room. She looked down at her feet, seeing they were tied up with strong ropes to the legs of the chair as well.
Billie was nowhere to be found.
"Hello? Help! Someone help me!" Y/N shouted, fear and pain striking through her body as she felt like sobbing right then and there.
"No one can help you, sweetheart." A deep voice husked, it was much different from Hailee's, it was much more masculine. It came from a man. "I do hope you remember me, Y/N."
"How do you know my name? What do you want from me?" Y/N bombarded him with questions. "Who even are you?"
"Well... maybe we just need a little light to see." The man ducked down, revealing himself in the light. Y/N swallowed hard, her body going cold and still as she wanted nothing more than to yelp for Hailee, see if she was even here. But the fear she was feeling, stopped her. "Hello, baby."
Her ex-boyfriend...
Donovan Graves.
