"Waglington?"
"Yeah,"
"When do reach The Inertia?"
"I honestly don't know."
Wag and Pearl were trading conversations, each conversation would end randomly. An hour later they were asleep, well, Pearl was asleep. Wag couldn't sleep, he was terrified of the last dream he had about Pearl dying. He looked at her and smiled, Wag then saw a dark figure in the trees, the only thing he could make out was pitch black hair and a blindfold on the figure's eyes. He stood up and walked towards the figure, "Hello?" He greeted, the figure was a woman, she was twiddling with some sticks, "Hello?" Wag repeated. "I can hear you." She said.
"I just can't see you."
"What's wrong."
"My eyes, they're gone."
"Oh, who did this?"
"I don't want to talk about it, all I know is that I'm traveling to the Inertia."
"My friend and I are too."
"The Inertia is where I can get my eyes healed." She turned the small bundle of twigs into one stick. "You're a spell caster!" Wag gasped.
"Yes I am, as much as I love using magic, it got me into the mess I'm in right now."
"Yeah, I made some mistakes too."
"Like what?"
"Killing the girl I love. I managed to save her, but she's not really the same."
"Is that so?"
"Yes."
"Anything else?"
"Nightmares."
"Nightmares about what?"
"Killing everyone. Having no mercy."
"Mhmm."
"That's why I can't sleep."
"I've done some regretful things."
"Like..."
"Hurting someone, he never forgave me... I really loved him and he loved me."
"Well, he loved me until I learned magic, it's a gift and a burden."
"I know..."
"I'm afraid I'll kill her again and I wouldn't be able to save her." Wag hung his head down, a single tear fell from each eye. "Have you ever tried Blood Magic?"
"No, it's more of a burden then regular magic. You could be killed."
"I know. I learned how to use it though, it's really hurts."
"That's because it requires your blood,"
"I know that, but-"
"If you're using Blood Magic I suggest you stop." The woman snapped, "You will hurt yourself and you will hurt the people you love." She softened. "I know that because my father was a Blood Mage, he was a Blood Mage in training. He was being trained by Lord Mianite, until..."
"Until what?"
"Until he killed both himself and my mother."
Wag remained silent.
"My father could only use Blood Magic if Lord Mianite was watching him, one day, he disobeyed that rule. My father was showing my mother his new move that he learned, it was a move that let him create a deadly scythe."
"He almost lost all his blood trying to make it and went out of control with it. You see, if you're low on blood, you're mind will go numb and you'll lose control of all your emotions, making you a merciless killer."
"H-He killed my mother with his scythe and with that swing... lost the last drop of blood he had in his system..."
"I was only 6, I watched my mother's disembodied head roll around and my fathers dry body lay there. Helpless, I ran away with nothing but my mother's locket. I was found by Dianite and was taught magic. Once I get my vision back I will KILL Mianite for teaching my father these horrible, HORRIBLE things!" The woman explained. "My childhood was rough too..." Wag spoke up. "I was the fifth out of ten children. Two younger brothers, two older brothers, two younger sisters and three older sisters."
"I never got attention as a child so I kept quit, my only friend was my sister, Kellina. Until one day, I learned I had magic in my bloodstream, Kellina helped me but at the price of her being burned for something that she didn't do."
"So I ran off into the forest and met the girl I fell in love with."
"I want to go to The Inertia so I feel welcomed, so I can be like the great wizards and necromancers."
"That's a better reason then why I want to come, I know I can't kill a god, but I'd rather die trying then carry that memory forever."
The woman held out her hand, Waglington shook her hand, "See you in The Inertia." They said at the same time.

Yo! Sorry that I hadn't been updated for a long time. I'm just stuck in the middle of a web of things. Girl drama, friends that I only have one summer left with because they're moving or aren't in the same grade. Love life, jk, I have no love life ;-; #SoAlone. Taking care of my little brother, it's just a lot. Also I have swimming for two days and math tutoring for two days and each are two days a week, leaving three days to myself. And that's not a lot, trust me. So yeah, pls don't get purgetrubed about the lack of updates. -CakesOppyWaterFoodBlueberry
