Wag finally woke up, "Waglington!" Pearl hugged Wag's leg with her paws, "OW OW OW OW! CLAWS!" he screamed. "Sorry." Pearl stopped hugging him, Waglington tried to get up, but the bruises and scratches prevented him to. "Can you walk?" Pearl asked, "No, not really." Wag replied. "I'll get a stick!" the kitten walked into the forest, she came out with a stick from a eucalyptus tree. "This color is stupid..." Wag mumbled, a pink flower headband was laid on top of his head. "I think the color suits you!" Pearl laughed, "Keep laughing and you'll be doing this on your own..." Wag mumbled, "What?"
"Fuckn nothing." He snapped
"Whatever, I think you look beautiful." She complimented. Waglington smiled, no one really gave him compliments unless it was Kelly, Wag shook his head, trying not to think about it. "Thanks..." He whispered, later that day the 2 found a village. It was full of traders and merchants (those two things are the same thing, aren't they). A lady in a white robe came out of the library with a book, the book looked old. "Excuse me miss, but what book is that?" Wag walked up to the lady and asked, "Why, this is just an old fairytale." The woman answered. "May I have it?" Wag held out 3 coins, "Sure." The lady handed him the book and walked off. "Watcha gonna use that for?" Pearl purred, Wag stared down at the book for a minute, "If it's not interesting, then it'll be used for firewood." He said. The 2 explored the village a little more, trading goods for goods and having fun with the other kids. When night spread her long, black, sparkly dress across the sky, one of the kids asked if Wag could stay at his house. Wag politely said no and moved on with his journey with Pearl, that was the first time he interacted with a human for weeks now.
It was morning, the child and the kitten were still walking around, "So Wag, where DO you want to go?" Pearl questioned. "What do you mean?"
"Like, we're on a trip and we're traveling somewhere... I guess, so where are we traveling?"
Waglington stared at the ground for a second and then looked back at Pearl, "The Inertia."HEY GUYS! SORRY THIS WAS SHORT AND ALL BUT I STILL THINK IT BUILDS SUSPENSE, NO? BUT I HOPE U ENJOYED IT, I'M CAPITALIZING MY TEXT CUZ I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW TO ENABLE BOLD ON THE WATTPAD APP! -CAKE:)
