Waglington was walking around Ianite's house, every step he took, he felt heavier. Wag opened the door, he saw nothing but abyss, he sighed and walked out. The abyss acted like a sidewalk for him, Wag picked up a rock and threw it, the rock kept falling down into the empty void until Wag couldn't see it anymore. He heard footsteps behind him, Wag looked over his shoulder and saw Pearl, smiling he ran to her with his arms out. When Wag reached Pearl, he went right through her. Wag was confused, he touched Pearl again and felt her hands this time, her hands were cold. Wag tried asking Pearl if she was ok but he couldn't say anything. He tried desperately to talk, he tried to say something, it ended up in him breaking down in tears. Pearl just stared at him, her eyes full of disappointment, he kept crying.
"I hate you." She said emotionlessly. Wag's eyes were wide, he couldn't believe what he just heard. Wag looked at Pearl, her eyes full of nothing but white, "I'm so disappointed. You killed me, you killed Spark and Ianite." She said.
"YOU HAD NO REGRET! YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WHEN THEY PLEADED FOR MERCY! WHEN I PLEADED FOR MERCY!" She screamed, tears flooding from her lifeless eyes. "I-I..." Wag's voice was barely a whisper.
"YOU'RE SORRY?! SORRY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE?! OH, I'M SORRY THAT I KILLED YOU! I'M SORRY THAT I HAD NO MERCY, YOU'RE A KILLER! AN MERCENARY! YOU'RE EMOTIONLESS! I HATE YOU!" Pearl screeched, she calmed down. Pearl looked Wag straight in the eyes, "I thought... I thought I could trust you..." She breathed. Pearl turned her back on Wag, "I guess I can't, goodbye..." She walked away from him. Wag heard familiar voices, he heard pleads and sobs. Wag broke down into tears, he was on the floor, blocking his ears and screaming for it to stop. But no noise came out.
Waglington woke up screaming, he was the last one to wake up. "Waglington?" Ianite said from the other room.
"Are you ok?" She asked.
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." Wag stumbled. He noticed that he had dried blood on his clothes, "No... nononono!" He whisper-yelled. Wag walked over to the living room, he ran over to Pearl, who was on the couch. Wag ran over to Pearl and hugged her, "I'm so sorry..." He breathed.
"What?" She was confused.
Wag looked up at Pearl, her eyes were normal. "You saved me..." She said, Wag looked speechless.
"We were fighting a monster, we were going to die until you went all Blood Mage on it and saved us."
Pearl kissed Wag's forehead, he blushed mildly and let go of her. "Umm, but we have bad news..." Pearl said.
"What?" Wag asked.
"Waglington, Pearl, you've done us a lot on this journey. But unfortunately, all journeys have to end." Ianite explained.
"Wait, are we dying?"
"No, I know you guys have to go The Inertia. And I know Spark and I have to go on our own journey," Ianite kissed Spark's cheek, he smiled. "We'll see you again, but not now." Ianite smiled.
"Please take everything that you brought and go to Inertia, you need it." The goddess started crying, she gave Wag an orb, "What's this?" He asked.
"It's a blood orb, it'll help you track how much blood you're using when you use Blood Magic. There's a downside on Blood Magic, if you use too much blood... then it'll end you... but this orb can keep track of how much you have left." (I know this isn't actually what the blood orbs do but since it's a fanfic, it has to have some fake info. Right?) Ianite handed the blood orb to Wag. "Thank you." He thanked her. The goddess then gave Pearl a thin, gold necklace with a vile, "This vile has life essence in it, use it ONLY for emergencies. You only have a little bit in it. It can only be used twice, but it depends how big the entity is." Ianite explained. Wag and Pearl packed their things and headed off, they waved goodbye to Ianite and Spark. "Off to Inertia!" Pearl said.
AYYY! So how's the chapter? Good, good? We'll miss the goddess and the Spark but they'll come, later, maybe, idk. #DirkJakeIzLove. -#CakeSmokeBombYouCantSeeMe!
