Wag was just waking up, Pearl wasn't in the house so it must've been after eight. She goes out and does things at eight. Wag put on his cloak and went out. He saw Pearl buying more food, Wag sighed. "Hey Pearl! Are we gonna buy more crap and sell it for less crap?" He laughed. Pearl looked at Wag and flipped him off. She went back to buying more things. "Ignorant bitch." Wag mumbled. After an hour, the two met up at a cafe. "So, what were you doing while I was gone?" Pearl asked. "Sleeping." Wag answered.
"Have you noticed that we don't really do much together anymore?"
"Pearl, we live, eat, travel, spend and do basically everything, together."
"I know but-"
"It's either you ignore that fact. Or you just don't pay attention." (Air horn meme)
"I PAY ATTENTION!"
"To what? How you'll get nothing out of giving someone something?" (More air horns)
"I-"
"Face it, you need help with this subject, paying attention." (I do too)
"HOW DO I KNOW HOW TO PAY ATTENTION WHEN ALL THE KNOWLEDGE I COULD OF RECEIVED IS DEAD?!"
Pearl screeched, crying. Wag was silent. "Wag, I was only six months when the incident happened." She sobbed. "I barely knew anything." Wag wrapped his arms around Pearl for a hug, "Y-You at least went to s-school." She cried.
"I never went-"
"Shh, I know. I know you never went to school and I'm sorry for telling you those things."
"I was just raised in a high class family that would teach their children respect and honor or those children will be punished. I never spoke out of turn and I always kept my eye on the prize or bad things would of happened."
The two were at home, Wag was drinking tea and Pearl was lying down. It was eight-a-clock at night. Pearl heard giggling, her ears twitched. Then Pearl heard a screech (one that only cats and dogs can hear), she jumped off the couch and ran out the door, on all fours. "PEARL!" Wag ran after her. Pearl stopped at a statue near the middle of the town, she and Wag were hidden behind a statue. "Pearl! What the-"
"Shh!" Pearl pointed at a black figure, it moped around. "So what?" Wag whispered. "Look, closer..." The figure looked like a human, it's mouth was gaping and knifelike teeth were showing. "Don't do anything stupid!" Pearl whisper-screamed. Waglington sneezed, a shot of magic hit the fountain in the middle of the town. Water splashed and caught the human looking thing's attention. Wag was screaming, both his hands were on his mouth, that thing wasn't close to being a human. It was a pitch black figure with a gaping mouth, razor sharp claws and teeth and black ooze coming from its mouth. The wizard quickly backed up. Fear was in his eyes, "T-T-T-T-The..." He stuttered. "THE WHAT!?" Pearl screamed. "THE INK CLUSTERS!" Wag screeched, he grabbed Pearl and ran. The ink cluster let out a monstrous screech and a bunch of other ink clusters appeared. They sprinted after Wag and Pearl. Waglington blasted some light magic at some of the clusters. Pearl was slowing down, Wag picked her up and carried her. The wizard and neko rested in an alleyway. "What are these things?"
"They're magical beings, used to be human but we're corrupted by these evil, horrible, clusters of I don't even know what!"
"Umm, maybe clusters of magical ink?"
"Y-Yeah, t-that." Wag looked at Pearl, he saw an ink cluster in the corner of his eye. Wag shot some magic at it and the cluster went down. The others screeched and ran towards Waglington. He let out a battle cry and quickly formed a sword out of magic, he closed his eyes and stepped forwards. Out of nowhere there was a 'shing'. The ink clusters didn't move, then their top halves slide off. They were cut in half. Pearl was beside Wag, there was a black liquid on her katana and some on her clothes. Wag hugged Pearl. An ink cluster snuck up on Wag from behind and grabbed him. Wag screamed only for his cries of help to be muffled. Pearl tried reaching out for Waglington but he and the ink cluster were already gone.HEYO! Sorry this is a lil dark. I went to the Dragon Ball Z convention yesterday and it was, it was...
