(A/N: Welcome to the AMAZING DIGITAL- *cough cough* Sorry. Like I was saying, Welcome to Season 3 of 000. I want to use this to once again thank you all for reads and votes and supporting me. I hope you like this season for big things are coming. Big things indeed. I also want you too know that I have found a site that has written the script in a way that I can work better. I will be using that but that doesn't mean that updates will be quick or anything so please don't ask about when the next chapter is. I will publish it when I finish it and I will finish it when I can. Not only that but when it comes to writing the story, instead of using 'Zero' when referring to the reader I will be using 'you' and such unless the situation calls for it an example is instead of saying "Zero's guitar" it will now say "Your guitar". I have started doing this if you have noticed the last couple of chapters for season 2. With that out of the way I will reveal what the next book I plan on working on next soon. Maybe the end of this chapter, maybe the end of the season. Who knows? But with that out of the way. Let's get right into the story!)
*RIFT LAB - DAY: June 1984*
A number of Soviet scientists of various ages are dressed in military hazmat suits and are preparing for a major test. The Key, about the length and size of an ICBM, resembles a jet engine. It sits in the center of a large room. A worker soon ascends a ladder beside the Key.
Woker 1: *In Russian* Alright. Time to start this up.
Worker 1 turns some switches on a nearby control panel. This action triggers a warning alarm.
*IN THE OBSERVATION ROOM*
We see an armed guard standing at attention by the entrance as we see two high-ranking military officials inside the Key. One is a tall, muscular man who looks to be in his mid 30s. The other was a regular man who looked to be in his 60s. These are Grigori and Major General Stepanov. They are standing before the console in the front of the observation room in front of the window. They were standing with four scientists who were all male and of various ages, wearing lab coats and three soldiers who were in position around the room.
Lead Scientist 1: Alexei. Let's do it.
Alexei nods.
These two scientists opens a silver case as he pulls out two identical keys. Alexei and the Lead scientist each take a key and move to opposite ends of the console. They lock eyes, nod and turn their keys simultaneously.
*RIFT LAB*
The Key powers on. The machine starts activating as the turbine spins, generating an electrical current and bright bolts of electricity. The parts in the machine come alive. At the other end of the machine, a powerful energy beam fires at its target: An entrance to THE RIFT.
Worker 587: It's alive! ALIVE!!!
Worker 374: Really? You had to make that joke?
Worker 587: Yes. Do you have a problem with that?
Worker 374: No, not really. Just, why Frankenstein?
Worker 587: I love that movie.
Worker 374: Fair.
Worker 824: OI! Stop talking and pay attention!
Worker 767: Yeah! Talk about movies on your own time!
The workers nod as they continue to watch the machine shoot a beam into THE RIFT.
Worker 587/374: Sorry!
The contact point glows and begins to tear a vertical gash in the stone wall. From within the fissure, vine-like growths snake out.
Worker 689: It looks like a-
