Raina sat across from Rhaenyra and Daemon, her gaze as hard and icy as a winter storm. "Raina," Rhaenyra began. Raina's frosty eyes shifted to meet hers.

"Do you have something you'd like to say?" Rhaenyra asked, her voice laced with tension. She could feel the waves of anger radiating from Raina, who hadn't looked at them this way since before Rhaenyra and Daemon's wedding.

"There are plenty of things I'd like to say," Raina retorted, her voice a sharp hiss. "Are you sure you want to open that Pandora's box now?" Rhaenyra had invited Raina to accompany her to the Red Keep to disrupt Aegon's crowning, and despite the tension, Raina had agreed. Raina's two dragons, though not as large as Aemond's beast, were formidable enough to put up a fight.

"As good a time as any," Daemon interjected, breaking the tense silence. Raina nodded in agreement.

"You named Jace as your heir," Raina began, and Rhaenyra nodded. "Why?"

"He is my eldest. It's his birthright," Rhaenyra responded. Raina let out a small, bitter laugh.

"Birthrights? Do you really want to bring up birthrights?" Raina challenged. Rhaenyra looked away, her eyes evading Raina's. "We both know that I am the rightful heir. If we're being honest, it's my right to everything you have, considering our true parentage." Rhaenyra's gaze wandered uncomfortably.

"Raina!" Rhaenyra protested, but Raina silenced her with a raised hand.

"I would never devalue them or see them as anything less," Raina reassured her. "I love them. But I've worked too hard to just let this happen, so I'm proposing a deal." They looked at her expectantly.

"You name me as your heir, Jace as the Prince of Dragonstone, and to strengthen this alliance, we marry our children. That way, you sit on the throne, I sit on the throne, and our children continue our legacy," Raina proposed.

"But we have no daughters to marry to your sons," Rhaenyra pointed out. Raina maintained her icy demeanor.

"I'm only 14; I will have more children," Raina countered. "This benefits everyone, and honestly, it's the only viable option."

"And how so?" Rhaenyra challenged. Raina's lips curled into a sweet, deceptive smile.

"If I'm not named heir, I will withdraw my support. That includes my grandparents' backing, meaning you'll lose House Velaryon's ships and men," Raina stated, her voice steady. They both understood the gravity of her words.

"And where I go, my sons follow," Raina added, her voice firm. Daemon's expression hardened, his grip on Serion tightening. Raina looked away briefly before meeting his gaze again.

"I love you," Raina confessed, surprising Daemon. It was the first time she had openly admitted her feelings. "And while I don't want this, I've been playing this game for years. I know my strengths and I know my power. That's why I'm asking you to accept the deal."

"Can we have time to think?" Rhaenyra asked. Raina nodded, understanding the need for contemplation.

"We have things to attend to. We'll finish this discussion when we return," Raina stated. "It's best we prepare ourselves." With that, she turned and walked down the hallway.

"Raina," her grandparents called out, and she stopped to greet them with a warm embrace as they entered her room. They stood beside a changing board, holding a set of armor.

"We've got something for you," they said, and Raina walked back to them, her curiosity piqued. As she approached, she saw the gleaming set of Velaryon steel armor. Mama smiled as her grandfather assisted Raina in putting it on.

"It was meant for your fourteenth nameday, but circumstances prevented us from giving it to you then," Mama explained. Raina's eyes shimmered with gratitude as she hugged them both tightly.

"You're a strong girl, Raina," Mama whispered. Raina pulled back slightly and embraced her grandfather.

"Be safe, my girl," he murmured. Raina nodded, mustering a confident smile before making her way out to the beach.

"Ready?" Rhaenyra asked as Raina reached her. Raina nodded, her anticipation building, and they both mounted their dragons. Raina climbed onto Drakonis, the largest of her dragons, while Pyronyx and Seasmoke soared behind them.

They tore through the sky above the water, dragons cutting through the air with lethal precision until the towering walls of King's Landing loomed before them as they approached the Dragonpit but rain a trend her dragon and went back to the city landing on a rooftop

Raina gracefully dismounted from her dragon, her gaze sweeping over the awe-struck citizens of King's Landing who gazed up at her in reverence.

"Princess Raina!" they cried out, extending their hands towards her.

"Gather around, people of King's Landing, and lend me your ears. A wind of change blows through these very streets. We stand on the brink of a new era, where the fires of justice will blaze brightly, dispelling the darkness that has plagued our beloved city for far too long.

I am Raina, the daughter of dragons, a flame that seeks not destruction, but rebirth. I have not come to conquer, but to liberate you from the chains that bind us. The hour has arrived to cast aside the uncertainties and rise above the tumultuous tides that have engulfed our lives.

The drunken son of the late King. Aegon Targaryen seeks to claim the crown," Raina declared, her voice dropping to a hushed whisper that reverberated through the crowd.

"Did you know that Aegon the Prince frequents your brothels and violates the maids within the Red Keep? Is that the kind of king you want?" Raina's voice boomed, cutting through the air with a resounding clarity.

"I am here to protect you. No, I will protect you! I will strike down anyone who dares to harm you! I will rebuild this city. Every man, woman, and child shall have food and shelter. Slavery will be abolished, and only willing workers shall exist. You shall all live as lords and ladies. All we need is unity!" Her voice echoed with determination, eliciting cheers from the crowd.

"And in unity, we discover strength. In understanding, we find common ground. I extend my hand not as a ruler, but as a partner in our journey toward a brighter future. Together, we shall forge a legacy of resilience and unity, leaving behind the remnants of strife that have plagued us."

"Let the walls of King's Landing bear witness to our solemn pact, a pledge to build a future where every voice resounds, where justice prevails, and where the flame of hope forever burns. Stand beside me, and together we shall ignite a new fire, illuminating the path to a realm where the people are the true architects of their own destiny."

"Join me in this noble endeavor, and let us script a saga that future generations will sing. For King's Landing, for our shared future, let the winds of change guide us toward a brighter, united tomorrow!" Raina's words resonated through the air, and the crowd erupted in cheers, their hands raised high in support.

"To the Queen!"

"Hail to the Queen!"

"Hail the Queen!"

Raina smiled as she made her way back to her dragon, mounting its back. Just as Rhaenyra soared overhead, Raina took flight, soaring above the city. The chants of the people echoed in her ears as she disappeared into the sky

Raina was more then ready for this
