Hope you enjoy the chapter sorry for the wait life has been well hectic.
Percy stared at Derek who simply nodded as he glanced at the ground ashamed. Yet his eyes narrowed at Percy's leg which had dried ichor on the pant legs.
"What happened to the curse?" Derek muttered alarmed raising an eyebrow. Scott and Stiles eyed each other before glancing at Percy realizing he had suddenly started bleeding again as well.
"I burned through it," Percy admitted with a sigh shrugging his shoulders. "Partially."
"Partially?" Scott asked tilting his head in confusion as he and stiles both pointing towards the dried blood specs on his shirt.
"The curse only works for mortals, and well since I'm not going to be one soon, it's slowly losing its effect... granted my skins supposed to be stronger but bullets seem to hurt for Hades sake." Percy muttered as he vanished into thin air.
"I will never get used to that," Stiles remarked.
"You can do that now too though," Scott reminded him with a wink."Both of you shush and sit down," Derek snapped as he went and sat on his bed. His mind had wandered, all the stakes were true now. Percy bleeding again meant his mortality was running thin, that even ancient blessing were now not enough to stop his godlyhood.
His mind flashed back to when Ares had shown up offering Percy the cure for killing Clarisse. And Percy had just sent him away, he had made his choice, Derek didn't have an idea what the son of Poseidon had in mind but he knew it wouldn't be simple.
Scott and Stiles sat silent in the loft as they both shared the same thoughts as Derek while, the younger son of the seas anxiety was getting the best of him. He wanted to scream at Percy for leaving, but that would be deflection as he was just mad his dad was captured.
Suddenly the door opened and Ms. Blake came screaming for Derek. He walked to the middle of the loft throwing herself at the alpha kissing him passionately.
"Scott and Stiles! They're going to say some things that don't make any sense I just need you to trust me!?" She exclaimed as Derek himself seemed to be revolted by her. She narrowed her eyes at the alpha when he asked.
"What happened?"
"They're already here!?" She exclaimed as her eyes darted over towards the two teenagers who were sitting next to each other.
"Where's my dad," Stiles croaked out.
"The sheriff?! How would I know?!" Ms. Blake exclaimed. "All you have is accusations and no proof by the way!"
"What if we do?" Scott asked rising up holding out a vile that Percy had given him.
"What is that?" Ms. Blake asked cautiously.
"You know what it is," a voice echoed out through the loft causing Ms. Blake to shiver as she glanced around wondering if this was a trick or not. Was he actually in the building this time?
"Mistletoe," she exclaimed as Scott flung the ashes towards her that started to absorb around her. The same pain and menace she had inflicted caused her body to shift and tamper with the scene she had put up. In the midst of her thrashing she saw Percy Jackson standing before her his eyes Arctic blue and sea green.
In a matter of moments it was over and Derek had her by the neck as Percy Jackson had riptide by her throat.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you," Derek snarled.
"Because-," Ms. Blake choked out as Derek's claws started to pierce her skin. "I'm the only one that can heal your sister."
