I woke up to which seemed like hours later. I had the most amazing dream. I was dancing away in the night sky, with Lucien by my side. I lifted my head, stretching my arms. Shivers ran down my spine. Oh god I wish it was reality-

"Good morning Kamilla"

A soft smile was plastered on my face. The way he said good morning sounded so real. I felt so warm, and the material I was laid on felt so soft, unlike the one back at home. Almost as if it was real?

Wait... I retracted my arms then rubbed my eyes. Once my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw Lucien under me. I was sat on his lap, intertwined with him.

"How did you sleep?"

He said while looking up at me.

"I slept pretty good actually... the best sleep I've gotten- wait-!"

I jumped back. Did I fall asleep on top of him? He must have been uncomfortable.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep on you!"

He said nothing, but small laughs. He was pulling me back on him, burying his face in my neck. His warm breath ticked, but it felt nice. I assumed he was ok with it, but I've always been taught not to assume.

"Please, stay."

He said muffled. I let out a small giggle as I melted into his touch.

"Did you sleep ok? I'm still sorry about falling asleep on you."

"I slept great, don't worry Kam,"

"Kam.?"

"Yeah, it's something to call you, like a nickname. Is that alright?"

"Take this and rule the world, Kam. My dear princess,"

I gave a soft smile, as I nodded. I could fell his smile in my neck, along with his warm breath. I giggled and held him tight.

It didn't last long, for we both heard a knock on his door, followed by a woman saying that breakfast was ready.

"Coming! I'll be down in a couple minutes,"

He groaned back. I whispered,

"Who was that?"

"It's just one of the maids,"

"Am I allowed to come with you, or should I stay here?"

"You can come. You just... you might want to change."

I tilted my head, as I gave a confused expression.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Hm, first problem, you have my jacket on. But without it, you have a bunch of cuts and bruises. Second problem is, you only have a baggy shirt, and very... tight shorts."

I watched his face turn away, but I could tell he was really red.

"I-"

"And then your... um..."

"My what?"

"Your wings. The castle has special mirrors planted around. It shows one's true self unless you chose to show it without the mirror. It's to protect us, so traitors don't enter."

"Is there a way to hide it?"

"Unfortunately, no, but I have clothes for you that can hide it."

I nodded. He got up, puling me deeper in the room. Going through a door in the back, there was this huge walk-in closet. It was filled with suits and other fancy clothes, with the occasional casual clothing.

I looked around, having the back left corner catching my sight. There was small section of women's clothing. There was not many, but just enough pairs to mix match into many outfits. Looking below the clothes, there was a container filled with lots of jewelry.

"Woah,"

I had an amazed look on my face. I gave an excited smile as I looked at him.

"Thank you. This is all the clothes you'll need to stay here."

"Wait wait wait what!? I don't need to stay if I'm too much of a burden-"

"You can stay, I promise. That's why I took you here. I want to protect you, even if that means death upon me. That is if you'd like to stay."

"Thank you so much! I'd love too."

I smiled softly, while bowing.

"No no, please don't bow."

I stood back up, nodding.

"Alright, my apologies. I will try to remember."

I smiled at him. A moment passed before he turned his attention back to the clothing.

"These clothes are special. Its imbedded will magic to block out the mirrors. It will make you seem like one of us. Go ahead and get dressed into whatever you'd like. Ill change out here."

He grabbed a suit from the rack and walked out the door.

"Hm..."

I looked around before something stuck out.

"Oo!"

I picked a beautiful black dress off the rack. It had thin mesh like material sleeves that came off the shoulder. The dress wasn't too tight, but it was just enough to show my body features. It was enough to cover all of the wounds but still showing skin. It was a perfect fit.

I grabbed my old clothes from the laundry basket in the corner. I reached into the pair of shorts, digging around in the pockets until finally I found it. I pulled out a velvet red bow, the same one my father gave me. I looked into a side mirror and clipped it onto my dress, right in the front. I grabbed a brush from the container, brushing out the tangles from my hair. I took a step back, looking at myself. No wings. I let out a sigh of relief and I knocked on the door.

"Are you done changing?"

I spoke in a soft voice. He responded with,

"Almost, you can come out."

I smiled as I slid out of the walk-in closet. He was looking in the mirror while buttoning up his shirt. While looking forward, he saw me in the background. I watched his eyes widen and his mouth drop slightly. He turned a light shade of pink, and so did I. After finishing the last button, he turned to look at me.

"You look so..."

"Bad? I'm sorry I didn't really know how to dress; this is the nicest clothes I've ever had-"

"No no,"

He walked closer to me, reaching out for my hands. I took them as I gave a soft, but worried smile.

"You look beautiful."

"You really think so? I mean you look amazing."

"I do think so. You even added a bow, it's lovely."

"My father gave it to me, it's the last thing I have from my kingdom."

I gave a true smile to him, turning a brighter shade of red. He was so beautiful I just couldn't help but stare into his eyes.

"Cherish it, it's lovely. Now come on."

"Wait, won't your parents question me?"

"Considering I've been gone for so long and we are late for breakfast, they wouldn't wait for me, they'd be gone for work by now, so, it's only me and you" he smirked at me, and I scoffed at him. We both let out some giggles as we walked towards the door.
