The door seems stuck as it doesn't budge even as Megumi pushes against it. His eyebrows furrow, frustration instantly creeping up. He shove more against the stubborn door but it's still jammed.Sukuna places his hand onto Megumi's shoulder, causing the younger to pause. With a little sigh, he steps aside. Sukuna grabs the handle and rams his shoulder into the door. Their is a loud crash on the other end which tells them that something was blocking their way of entering.
He opens the door slightly only to have a knife thrown in his direction. It barley misses Sukuna's shoulder, sticking to the wall.
"Tsumiki?!" Megumi shouts, moving to enter the room. With his instincts screaming to protect, Sukuna wraps his arms around the boy's small waist. He picks him up, keeping Megumi in place. "Tsumiki, it's–"
"Megumi?" Her hesitant voice calls, the door swinging fully open. Megumi can hardly believe his eyes as Tsumiki stands there, alive and unharmed. A bit disheveled and maybe even sleep deprived but she is right here. Alive.
"Put me down." Megumi taps Sukuna's arm and despite being on edge, Sukuna does as told. The moment Megumi is free from the protective hold, he rushes into the brunette's arms. He's beyond relieved that he wasn't too late, that she's safe and he won't have to go insane from wondering what happened to her.
"Let me see you." Tsumiki pulls back, cupping his face. Tears pool in her eyes as she smiles lovingly at him, thankful that they both had faith they would find their way to each other. She then remembers that there is another person present, someone she had thrown a knife at. "I'm sorry! I wasn't sure if it was one of those things trying to get in." She fusses, hoping that this stranger won't hold a grudge over her careless mistake.
"It's okay, Miki. This is Sukuna, we met during this whole epidemic. Sukuna, this is my sister I told you about, Tsumiki." Megumi introduces, unsure as to why he feels nervous. He's not sure if he's ever introduced Tsumiki to someone before.
"Nice to meet you." She smiles, holding out her hand. Sukuna slightly backs away, jaw clenched. He is repulsed at the idea of being touched by anyone that isn't Megumi, everyone else is just like those insidious doctors doing experiments on him. Shocking his brain. Taking his blood and testing inhumane methods on him all while saying it's for the best, it can help people if successful.
"He doesn't like physical contact with strangers. Anyway, what happened to your apartment? Why are you barricaded in your room?" Megumi questions, taking her hands in his.
Tsumiki opens her mouth to speak but pauses when Sukuna grabs Megumi's arm. "Not safe." Sukuna reminds but he also doesn't like Megumi being doting towards other people. Even if she is his sister.
"He's right, I don't want one of those things to come in here." Tsumiki sighs, glancing down the hallway. "What's your plan, Megumi?"
"Find you and continue. We have a car, so we should go. Pack whatever you want but we should hurry." Megumi tells her, to which she nods in understanding. She goes back into her room, grabbing her suitcase out of her closet. She begins to pack her essential things, focused on packing correctly but in a rushed fashion.
Sukuna hugs Megumi from behind, nuzzling his face into the boy's neck so he can breathe in his scent. He has become rather possessive but Megumi finds that he doesn't really mind. In the end, they can only comfort one another. They're sexually compatible, there's no denying that. Anything... beyond that is unfathomable, in Megumi's opinion.
Having sex with the same person could become complicated. Megumi isn't a big fan of people but... would it be better if they find other survivors to avoid getting too attached?
