Sukuna returns from training, already showered and irritated from Satoru's chattiness. Megumi doesn't come out to greet him, he's a bit disappointed but he assumes the boy should be back shortly since it seems he isn't here. Sukuna goes into the bedroom, pausing as he sees Megumi curled up in the blankets.

He shuts the door, noticing that Megumi has items and blankets around... he must be nesting.

"Megumi." Sukuna calls, kissing his cheek. Megumi doesn't budge, still sleeping. Sukuna doesn't want to mess anything up so he doesn't get on the bed.

The rigorous training is exactly what Sukuna needs. His body has too much energy and raw power that needs to be put to work, enhancing his abilities and letting off steam. He returns to Megumi more mellowed, because after the shift in his relationship with his treasured Megumi, he believes he'd behave far too possessively for Megumi's liking. There's more positives involved when it comes to the training than negatives and that's the only reason he has continued to go.

Sukuna is heartless towards others and it's showed especially during one-on-one combat. He doesn't care to hurt the guy he's paired with and Nanami had mentioned some nonsense about teamwork. To remember they're fighting for the same goal. Survival and unity.

Sukuna disagrees. He fights for Megumi and only him, to allow him this comfort to nest in their bed and so he doesn't have to see him too paranoid of death to sleep again.

The white haired alpha is also not a fan of teamwork, at least he has that in common with Sukuna. However, Sukuna still has no intention of getting to know Gojo. They won't be friends, especially not since his blue eyes always seem to follow Megumi wherever he goes.

"Kuna..." Megumi whines in his sleep, his eyebrows scrunching. Sukuna brushes his bangs back, kissing his forehead. That seems to stir him awake, his hand reaching out and grabbing Sukuna's shirt.

"Bunny." Sukuna murmurs, nuzzling against his cheek. Megumi wraps his arms around Sukuna, sniffling as tears stream down his face. Sukuna tenses, his arms wrapping around the dark haired boy's smaller body protectively. "What happened?" He clenches his jaw, his body become fired up and prepared to smash someone's skull in for hurting his Megumi.

"N-nothing." Megumi pulls back, meeting Sukuna's gentle gaze. He cups the younger's face, wiping away some fallen tears with his thumbs. There's a tightening in his chest, as if thorny vines are coiling around his heart.

"Who hurt you?" Sukuna knows that distance for them is what Megumi prefers, he doesn't want them together twenty four hours. They had to be together without having moments to just breathe and enjoy the company of oneself but now Sukuna doesn't want to leave his side for even a second.

"I had... a really horrible nightmare." Megumi places his rather cold hands on top of Sukuna's. "Don't... don't ever be a hero, Kuna. You don't need to save anyone at the risk of yourself."

"I would only save you." Sukuna sits on the bed, pulling Megumi onto his lap. He settles his hands onto Megumi's bare thighs, wondering what he should do to take away Megumi's sadness. "Megumi, let me show you."

"Show me what?" Megumi whispers, his voice trembling.

"You can never escape me. I'll never leave you." Sukuna takes Megumi's hand, pressing a kiss on top of his knuckles before tracing kisses along his pointer finger. His crimson eyes swirl with desire as he lightly bites the tip of his finger, making Megumi jolt. "You own me, bunny. You can't... abandon me."

"Stop it. Don't say such things to me. I don't deserve it. I just don't understand why you feel this way towards me, I'm not... I'm not anyone special." Megumi's insecurities leak through the cracks the more time Sukuna spends with him. It's no wonder he lets people treat him terribly, he thinks very lowly of himself and believes the wicked things he's been told.
