"I'm sure he won't mind he needs to eat too." Faith said trying to sound positive.

Faith and Luch stared at the keys hanging from the hook. Faith took a deep breath and grabbed the keys. Dmitri had been so calm and nice, he wouldn't get mad at them for borrowing his vehicle.

"Really Faith, I don't think this is a good idea. Neither of us have driven much and we don't know the area.". Luch tried to reason with his headstrong sister.

Sure she seemed all shy and timid until she had a goal. Then nothing would stand in her way. Look at the situation with the warrior. Not even in residence a week, and she had decided that the young needed a father figure and Dmitri would be it.

She didn't question wether he wanted the role or would even be good at it. She just rolled forward with her plans. Forcing everything and everyone into what she wanted.

So far Dmitri and the young had not balked at her maneuvering and hopefully they continued on doing as she planned.

It may seem a form of arrogance that is not at all attractive in a submissive, but Faith seemed to always be right in these situations. Wether from her empathic Fae abilities or just a greater understanding of people's natures, Faith just knew what others needed.

Trusting in his big sister once again, Faith and Luch were soon paying for enough groceries to last a few more days and heading back to the Creche's compound.

Faith let out a sigh of relief as she turned the huge SUV onto the dirt road leading to home. She had been really nervous taking Dmitri's vehicle, but had tried to seem confident for Luch.

Just as Faith began to smile at her newfound good driving skills she hit a small patch of ice and started to slide. Never having driven in snow before, and not knowing any better, she jerked the wheel to bring herself back onto the road. Jaden began crying in the back as the vehicle spun across the road. Not knowing what to do Faith frantically began to hit the brakes while pulling on the wheel. Suddenly, with a loud crash they came to a stop.

Faith frantically ripped off her seatbelt and shook glass of herself before she crawled into the back to grab Jaden. Luch was breathing heavily in the passenger seat as Faith held the crying toddler tightly in her arms.

"Holy shit Faith! I thought we were going to die.". Luch laughed nervously in relief.

"What was that?! Everything was fine and then it was like the car was possessed or something. Nothing I did helped. At all. ". Faith exclaimed as Jaden's cries started to subside.

Faith began to gently examine Jaden for injuries as Luch took of his seatbelt and got out.

"Man, Dmitri is going to be so mad when he sees this.". Luch yelled to Faith as he examined the mess that was once the front end of the vehicle. "I don't think we can buff this out like the scratch we put on Dad's car Faith."

Faith leaned her head back on the seat and cuddled the clingy pup. She turned her head towards where the house was as she heard a rhythmic pounding accompanied by low howls. Oh yippee the males were coming. Faith slowly closed her eyes and growled in frustration. Well at least they could get the yelling out of way.

Dmitri was the first to sight the crashed vehicle. He and the trainees had been taking a break when they heard the sound of breaking glass and twisting metal. A baby's cry broke the silence that followed. As Dmitri recognized Jadens cries, the pain in his chest almost brought him to his knees.
