Another Lovely piece by KattraKnit continued from 'First Meeting' I was going to have it a bit later but decided you shouldn't wait longer for it

=FluffTale Ccino's Café=

Nightmare carefully stirred three sugars and heavy cream into his coffee as Dream clung to one
of his tentacles and wailed about how mean PJ was. "Let me get this straight. You called me
here for a emergency meeting. Because my nephew who is well out of stripes. Is acting like a
disgruntled young adult?"

Dream sobs and clings harder, "he was rude and disrespectful to Ink. He rolled his eyelights at
me, and was respectful about Error as a parent!?"

Cross savors a bite of chocolate pie watching them. "Good for him, glad he has some sense."
He waves his fork at Dream, "Error has many, many, flaws but he knew he couldn't raise kids in
the anti-void. Made sure they have a good foster family, pays child support, and has seen to
their education including kidnapping Ink and supervising to make sure he not only teaches them but does so safely."

Dream sobs, "but he is evil!"

Killer shakes his head looking up from playing with a cat, "no Dream he just got stuck with the
nasty side of a balance same as Boss. Why would PJ respect Ink being constantly forgotten is
hurtful."

Horror looks up from his plate of pastries, "PJ lives with us or Error's kids when you go off to
work for weeks on end. Has sense he was two and I found him in our kitchen trying to eat raw
dried beans. Ink had forgotten him and he hadn't eaten in a week."

Dust nods, "you both suck worse than us as parents."

"Boys you are not helping. Look Dream I get it you want your child to be happy and healthy.
Mom was a terrible example, you can't get much more neglectful than a tree. But the snarky,
rebellious, rude faze is normal, pushing boundaries is a big part of the growing part, of growing
up. Granted his complaints are more serious than average but as the boys have pointed out
they are valid issues and should be taken seriously."

Dream sniffles, "I am a terrible dad!"

Cross sighs, "XGastor was a terrible dad you are just an incredibly inexperienced naïve one with
a truly worthless partner. So we figure out how to repair the situation and move on. PJ is a
good kid he probably will never have a good relationship with Ink. But that is as much because
it is impossible to have a relationship without someone who can't remember him as anything
else."
