"Promise?"

"Promise."

Y/N POV:

The soldiers dropped the boys, and they rushed towards the creature. The old man also released me and Eleven, joini

ng them. The air filled with tension as they started shooting at the emerging threat.

Arlo quickly came to me as I stood up with his help, while Dustin picked up Eleven. Mike also approached, helping me by putting my arm around his shoulder.

We quickly entered the class, and Dustin laid Eleven on the table. She grabbed Mike's hands as, with the help of Arlo, I stood beside Mike and observed Eleven, contemplating how much she had to endure.

"Just hold on a little longer, okay?" Mike said, his voice filled with reassurance, as the lights flickered above us.

"He's gone. The bad man's gone. We'll be home soon, and my mom, she'll get you your own bed. You can eat as many eggs as you want," Mike continued, trying to comfort Eleven.

"And we will be sisters," I said, and she turned to me. "Here, with you, you are free. We can braid your hair. We both will put on makeup together with Y/S/N," I said as her tears started to fall more, but she smiled at me.

"And we can go to the Snowball," Mike said to El.

"Promise?" She asked, looking between Mike and me.

"Promise."

A roar suddenly echoed near us, making us turn toward the door. Arlo stood in front of me, providing support.

"Do you think it's dead?" Dustin asked as we stared at the door. Just as we contemplated the possibility, a low growl pierced the air. I lowered my head, preparing for what was coming.

The creature suddenly appeared in front of us, breaking through the door. I quickly attempted to take control of its mind, but it proved to be too strong.

"Get the wrist rocket! Get the wrist rocket!" Dustin shouted urgently as they searched for it in Lucas's bag.

"Y/n," Arlo gripped my shoulder as I struggled to hold control.

"Come on, fast! Y/n can't hold it any longer," Mike urged as the creature roared loudly, hitting its head against the wall in an attempt to regain control. It was too strong as my head hurt.

"Ahh!" I screamed, closing my eyes as the Demogorgon roared in sync, tearing its split face in half.

Now, I totally collapsed, and Arlo quickly leaned me against his chest as we both sat on the ground.

"Y/n," the three boys rushed to me as we watched the Demogorgon scream in pain.

Suddenly, it lunged towards us, making our eyes widen in terror. But within a second, the Demogorgon flew back, slamming into the wall, and Eleven walked past us.
