Sanna jumped as Solomon grabbed her arm turning her around.

Kari looked at me, "What happened to you?"

Sanna looked back at me, "The wolves got her."

I pointed at Sanna, "Everything is fine."

Solomon looked at me, "The wolves are in the area?"

I shook my head, "Get back to the house."

Solomon narrowed his eyes back at me, "Go back to the house."

Kari glanced back at me, "McKenzie, what is going on?"

Sanna had her eyes narrowed at me.

"There is something I need to finish." I said as I walked away from them.

Sanna glanced back at Solomon as he hugged her, "Kid you scared me."

I stepped back into the clearing as the horses were gone and the guys.

I looked around looking for something when I heard the moan.

I walked over to a little path as I saw Lucas on the ground with his face covered in blood.

I bent down to him touching his arm.

"You didn't have to do that."

Lucas smiled at me, "You are the person that will save him."

I narrowed my eyes back at him, "Who are you talking about?"

"Solomon, you will save him."

"He dies Lucas, we all die."

"He didn't die, he was killed."

I glanced over my shoulder.

"He was betrayed by someone close to him. McKenzie, you know the legends and you know the myths. You know the rules."

"You want me to rewrite history?"

Lucas cracked a smile at me.

"Lucas, why did you do this to me?"

"You will know when you are ready."

I shook my head back at him.

"McKenzie, he needs you to keep him alive. He will always need you."

I glance down at Lucas as his eyes had stopped moving.

I shook my head as I stood back up, "Lucas, you fucking idiot."

I wiped my eyes as I walked away from his body.

I bent over as I tried to catch my breath.

I bit down on my lip as I wanted to scream.

I jumped when I saw Kari walk through the trees, "I told you that I had something to do alone."

Kari laughed back at me, "Kid, you aren't going anywhere alone."

I nodded my head back at her as Solomon and Sanna came into the clearing, "It doesn't matter. Everything is done."
