I ran my hand over the marks on my back as Raquel cleared her throat from the door, "Everything ok?"

I sat down on the bed as I reached for the blade that Kingston had given me.

Raquel looked down at the blade, "I know those markings."

I glanced up at her with tears in my eyes, "Maverick killed Kingston for no reason."

"We have all done things that are not always the best thing. We all have a fucked up past. We just have to keep moving and hope that tomorrow is brighter than today."

"I know I should be sitting here so happy about Solomon and myself but all I can think about is Kingston and the look he gave me."

Raquel grabbed my arm and pulled me into her body.

"I fought so hard for him. I fought so hard to protect him. I fought so hard to protect us all. Raquel I failed. I failed at protecting us."

Raquel put her head into my shoulder, "You did perfect. You saved us and you found yourself."

I closed my eyes as she was right.

During this time I have been in this world. I have become the person that I have always should have been.

I am right where I belong.

I am home.

Raquel glanced back at me, "I think I know the perfect thing to hide those battle scars."

I narrowed my eyes back at her as we got up and left the room.

Solomon knocked on the door as Bridget looked up.

Solomon walked into the house, "Where is your sister?"

Bridget glanced up as Isabel walked out to them, "I'm gonna leave you two alone."

Solomon looked back at up at Isabel, "Can we talk about what is going on right now."

"I don't wanna talk to the person that doesn't love me. I don't wanna talk to the person that wants me gone."

"I don't want you gone. I just thought that maybe this isn't the place that you should be."

"Solomon that is telling me to leave this camp, that is telling me that you don't want me around anymore!"

"I thought it would be strange being around me and McKenzie."

Isabel glared back at him, "You actually love her?"

"Yea, it wasn't forced. It wasn't faked."

"I never faked loving you. I never faked that."

Solomon shook his head back at her, "I'm sorry Isabel that this had to happen."

She nodded her head back at him, "At this point, I'm pretty sure you don't care."

"I do care about you. I really care about you. I was supposed to protect you and keep you safe. I mean why you don't just stay with us and then when you are married, you can leave."

Isabel glared back at him, "You want me to stay with you and your new lover?"

"It sounds fucked up but it could work."
