I glanced up the next day from the water as I heard something move across from me.
I saw the wolf emerge from the bushes as he walked down to the water and put his tongue into the water.
I cupped my hand and drunk the water as another wolf emerged and starting drinking the water.
Kingston walked down to me, "You don't see the wolves?"
"I leave them be Kingston, they are just thirsty like us."
Kingston looked at me, "I can't believe those guys are gone."
When we got back to the horses last night we found both of the boys had vanished from the site I told them to wait for us at.
I stood up as the wolves watched us.
I smiled back at them as I grabbed some food out of my pack and tossed it over to the wolves.
They looked up at me as a white wolf came out of the trees and right to the food.
Kingston looked down at me, "What are you doing?"
"The alpha wants to check it out." I said back to him.
Kingston watched as the blue eyed wolf sniffed the bread then raised his head back up as the other two wolves fought over it. "Why didn't he eat it?"
"To have respect and to have a kingdom under you, you have to know that your people need it more than you." I said as I tossed another piece over to the alpha.
The alpha looked back at me as I walked with Kingston down the road.
Kingston rubbed the back of his head, "Are you sure about this? I mean heading toward Dublin toward the king?"
"He will understand Kingston."
"You are impersonating his daughter."
"No, Loki said that I was her and now everyone thinks I am." I glared back at him.
Kingston stopped and looked at me, "Listen, I gotta ask you something."
I glared back at him.
"Where are you from?"
"I'm from the main land, I'm from Europe."
Kingston shook his head, "No, there is something about you that comes off strange. Like you see something and its already moving for you, like McKenzie, you already have seen it."
I glanced back at him.
Kingston just looked at me waiting for the answer.
"The reason Kane wanted me so badly around was that I'm not from this time."
Kingston just kept watching me.
"I'm from the year 2015. I was on a college trip to Ireland when I got caught up in this thing and somehow I was sent back here."
Kingston looked at me not blinking.
"Kingston, are you ok?"
"You are from the future?"
I nodded my head back at him.
