Maverick looked over at Raquel, "You need to leave us alone."
Raquel nodded her head as she got up and left the room.
I glared back at Maverick, "What happened to Caleb?"
"I got a bad feeling after the first camp attack so I sent him off. I sent him off to figure out what was going on in our camp."
I narrowed my eyes back at him.
Maverick moved closer to me, "You called Loki out and things got messy."
"You are trying to prove that Loki was behind the attack?"
"Just not the attack at the camp but all of the attacks that have been coming at us, I mean you and Raquel getting pulled away from us, that wasn't right and that wasn't something unplanned from the outside."
I looked at him, "Where is Caleb then?"
"I sent him up to Isabel's family place. But I haven't heard anything from him in a few days."
I shook my head as Sanna walked into the room, "What is wrong Sanna?"
Sanna crossed her arms as Kane and Solomon came into the room.
Maverick stood up, "What is going on?"
Kane walked over to me and grabbed my face, "I wanted to make sure that you are able to walk."
"What does that mean?" I pushed him as I was just wearing a little cover but no shirt or corset.
Solomon glared down at me, "One of our guards spotted some people moving toward our camp."
Sanna glanced back at me, "They are believed to be more of Kingston's people."
I pushed myself up as Raquel walked into the room with Kari and Dallas, "They are still coming for us?"
Kane grabbed my arm, "Something has to happen now."
Isabel busted through the door, "What is going on? Everyone is freaking out and the guards are moving into position."
Kane glanced back at her, "Tell your family that they need to leave. They need to take the western road. You need to get them out now."
I pointed at my corset as Raquel walked over and helped me get dressed. I slipped my top shirt on then another, "If they are moving in then we don't have long. The sun is about to set and once that happens, we are victims of the night."
Kane looked at me.
"Leave us; I need to talk to her alone."
Everyone but Solomon left the room.
I glanced back at him, "Your father told you to leave."
"I can't have secrets. I can't do this anymore."
I glanced back at Kane.
Kane shook his head, "The secrets we hold right now are those that will get people killed. You will know later about our talks. Solomon, you need to protect Isabel and her family, get them out of here."
I saw the pain on Solomon's face. I wanted to run over to him and tell him the truth but that wouldn't solve anything right now. That isn't the answer to what is about to happen.
