26. Look For The Light That Leads Me Home.

I walked through the tent door as someone grabbed me from behind tossing me down on the ground.

I struggled under the man's weight.

"Easy man," the other boy said to the one that was on top of me.

I looked up as I saw the guy with his back to me but his hair cut was one that I knew. The markings on his neck were one that I knew pretty well.

"Kingston?" I mumbled out.

Kingston turned to me, "McKenzie?"

I pushed the guy off of me as I got up from the ground, "What are you doing here? I stayed away from your lands."

The second boy looked at me, "Lands, we don't have lands anymore since Loki came through and claimed them all."

I looked back at Kingston, "He did what?"

"Loki came through and just cleared our stuff. He didn't stop as he went after everyone in my family. My parents are dead." Kingston looked at me.

I narrowed my eyes at him, "You know something."

"Raquel talked to me."

"At least it was someone with a level head." I said back to him.

"She told me that you are being framed for Kane's death."

"And you were promised something for killing him, weren't you?"

"Listen, my uncle said that I would be gifted that land." Kingston looked at me.

"Stop lying to yourself, I can see it in your face, you are Loki's heir. Don't try and fuck with me Kingston." I glared back at him.

"You knew?"

"I'm not stupid." I said looking back at him.

"Who else knows?" Kingston looked at me for more answers.

"Probably no one, I think Raquel will remain silent."

The guy that grabbed me put his hand up.

Kingston stood up as they went silent.

I looked back at them as I looked at the door.

I watched as the second boy grabbed his blade ready for something.

I glanced back at Kingston as the first boy put his hand back down, "You are running?"

"I have to run, I'm wanted by Loki and his right hand man." Kingston looked back at me.

"He tricked Solomon, didn't he?" I looked at him worried.

"Yea, they are all working for him." Kingston said to me.

"I ran because Loki was after me, I thought without me they would be safe."

Kingston shook his head, "They are in more danger now than before."

I glared back at him, "What do you know about Loki's plan?"

"He wants war." Kingston looked at me.

"He told you that with Kane out of the way that you would get the Ragason land, right?" I asked him back.

Kingston nodded his head back at me.

"But now your head is right next to mine on the chopping block." I leaned up against the table as the two other guys looked at Kingston.

Kingston narrowed his eyes back at me, "What did you do to Loki?"

"I ruined his plans when it came to Solomon marring Isabel."
