"you sure you don't mind sharing a bed?" phil asked pulling on a light blue shirt
dan shook his head giving him a small smile "no it's fine, i used to share with my sister all the time"
phil nodded faceplanting onto his bed "yep, i'm content with this"
dan giggled pushing him over and laying next to him "now this is good"
"are we doing anything tomorrow?" dan asked
phil smiled "yes we are, we're going to my special place"
"aww does phil have a ickle lickle special place" dan teased pinching his cheeks
"it is special!" phil protested "it's all pretty and i love it"
dan looked at him in adoration "okay, i'll come with"
phil leant up slightly and kissed dan's cheek "goodnight daniel"
dan blushed and closed his eyes "goodnight phillip"

when dan awoke he felt a small weight around his waist. looking down, he smiled as it was phil's arm hugging him tightly.
he carefully turned round so he was facing phil and admired him while he slept.
"stop staring" phil suddenly mumbled causing dan to giggle in surprise
"hi" he smiled
"hello dan" phil yawned and snuggled into his chest
"i'm excited to see your special place" dan mumbled into phil's hair
"well i hope that's not a euphemism" phil just hummed in response.
"boys! breakfast!" phil's aunt called up the stairs
"coming!" phil yelled back sprinting down the stairs
