"auntie!" martyn called out "we need your opinion!"
they both waited for their aunt while phil carried on sliding around the living room in his white fluffy socks.
"yes sweetie?" fiona walked in the room
"tell phil that he can't do the moonwalk and needs to stop"
"i don't know...don't crush his dreams though and in the meantime, he's dusting the floor" fiona laughed
phil gasped giggling "is that all i am to you?"
"you do chores without even realising, you're just one of those people" martyn laughed shaking his head.
"how is dan by the way?" martyn asked
"well his dad just bought him some leggings" phil mumbled looking at the text dan just sent him
"have you cursed the poor boy phillip?" fiona asked
"well...i did make him try his sisters leggings when we first started talking" phil shrugged
"i feel bad for dan" martyn laughed
"oh auntie i was meant to ask you, my eyeliner has run out" phil looked innocent
"didn't i buy you some the other week?" fiona asked folding her arms
phil rocked back on his heels avoiding eye contact "funny that..."
"fine, but only if you empty the dishwasher first" she said while phil skidded down the hallway before she could finish her sentence.
"thanks auntie!"
