dan was still upset when he left the train after in came into the station. he kept his head down, not even putting his headphones in and walked towards the exit.

"dan!" he heard an all too familiar voice

he span round and gasped "mum? dad?"

he ran into his mother's arms and hugged her tight "i missed you"

"i missed you too honey" she kissed his cheek

"missed you too dad" he jumped into his dad's arms

dan's father smiled at his son "how could i forget my favourite son?"

dan giggled "i'm you only son dad"

"still my favourite"

the entire way home in the car, dan had a big grin on his face.

he hadn't seen his parents for three months and he seriously missed them.

when they got home, dan frowned when he saw that tabitha had tear stained eyes. at first he thought she had been crying of happiness because their parents were home but it wasn't happy crying.

"what's happened?" he asked his parents whose smiles had disappeared

his mum pulled out a chair for him "sit down honey, there's something you need to know"

"dan! i've miss so much already!" phil grinned through his laptop camera

dan smiled cooed at him "miss you too"

phil raised an eyebrow "you okay? you seem down"

"well as soon as i got home, i was given some good news and some bad news"

thinking for a minute phil replied "good news first"

"my parents aren't going on anymore trips for a while" he explained

"awesome! why?" phil asked

"that's the bad news"

"oh god" phil stared at dan waiting for an answer

"my parents are sticking around for a while because...i'm gonna be an uncle"

(a/n: oooooh shit, btw you get two updates this week bc i'm going to new york for a week and i'm not allowed to bring my ipad *cries for eternity* so that means no wattpad for a week, i won't be able to cope)
