"thank you very much for breakfast fiona" dan said politely lining his cutlery neatly on his plate.
he had always been taught to use manners when around people who weren't his family. it was a habit that he did without knowing.
"that's quite alright dan thank you" she smiled at him then turned to phil "you should learn from this one"
phil looked up from using just his fork and mouth full of food "what?"
aunt fiona just rolled her eyes before clearing away the plates.
after phil finished eating he dragged dan back to his room so they could get changed.
"your family seem nice" dan said softly as he tugged on his skinny jeans
phil nodded "i guess i'm lucky to have them really, i could've been put in a foster home. ow fudgeballs!" he said suddenly exclaimed
"what?" dan turned to him giggling slightly at his choice of words
"i poked myself in the eye with pencil" phil pouted holding up his eyeliner
"c',mere you" dan took it from him and began doing phil's eyeliner
phil was silent while dan did this, he watched as dan stuck his tongue out slightly which amused him but mostly stare at him in adoration.
when the boys were in their normal attire, dan in black skinny jeans and band shirt with phil in white shorts and pale blue jumper, they left phil's house.
