phil's house wasn't too far away from the train station so the two boys walked hand in hand to his house.
"you're so tall" phil wondered aloud
"maybe you're just short" dan retorted
"i'm not short!" phil replied firmly but burst into giggles
finally they reached phil's house and he unlocked the door, letting them both inside.
"aunty?" phil called out "i'm back with dan!"
there were footsteps and a boy who looked similar to phil but with lighter hair came jogging down the stairs.
"i'm martyn" he greeted "phil's older brother"
"hey dude" dan smiled
phil frowned at them both. dan was his and his brother was not to steal him.
then a very elegant but kind woman came downstairs.
"hello dear, i'm phil's aunt fiona" she introduced herself hugging him
"very nice to meet you" dan said politely "thank you for letting me stay"
"it'll be a pleasure!" she assured him
"c'mon i'll show you my room" phil grabbed dan's hand and led him upstairs
there were actually three floors in phil's home. the top one was were he and his brother stayed with a bathroom. the second floor was his aunt and uncles room with another bathroom and office area. then the ground floor was kitchen, dining room and living room.
"welcome to my humble abode" phil gestured opening his door
