dan hated sundays with a passion and now he had to get up at seven in the morning and go to his detention which he still thinks is grayson's fault.
"can't you just write me a sick note?" dan whined to his mum as he pulled his converse on
"no honey, you need to learn your lesson about fighting" she replied not looking up from her laptop where she was typing away furiously
"i think i learned something by being punched" he mumbled under his breath
"oh dan before you go can you get me some things from the store?" tabitha walked in handing him a list "please?"

"i hate my life!" dan groaned throwing his school bag over his shoulder and wondered if he was actually going to need it today since he expected to just sit in the detention room for an hour and a half.
"honey just talk to phil while you're at school" his mum commented taking a sip of her tea
"who?" dan asked confused
"phil? the boy you spent the week with?" his sister answered exchanging worried looks with his mum
