Alone
To prevent something so horrible
He curls up
A little fox
The young pup is alone in the snow
Hiding under a tree
He doesn't know much
Other than he is tired
So... so tired
Tired of hiding, tired of friends
I guess he thought that Leaving his humanity would make it go away
It didn't
Nothing did
Not the scars
Not the scrapes of nail
Not the water
Not the love
Not the family
Not the friends
Not the bed
The fox was in pain
His sore back and legs
His eyes
His shoulders
It's all in pain
It's all so painful
It's all so exhausting
He's so tired
All day
Either hyper, or exhausted
Alive or Not
It doesn't matter
