~Storybrooke (Present)~

I laid on the bed in my father's shop. He was going to put me to sleep like Henry. Though it seemed like he didn't want to. Like he didn't want to be near me, but I was surprised when he spoke.

"Why did you even go with him? Do you know what he did?" He said with disgust.

"You both cared for the same person. That was not going to end well. I know Hook's side. When he told me about it, I hated you at the time, but now, I want to know your side. To give you a chance." I took my father's hand. "Nothing is easy. I've done many things that I wish I hadn't, not by my choice. I'm sure you have, but you have to trust me on this. Hook doesn't even know you're my father. It will be a shock for him, too." My father didn't respond to that.

"You ready?" he asked quietly. I can see his mind is busy.

"No, but do it."

"Remember what I told you to tell them." I let out a breath. To say I was scared was an understatement. I spent so long going to this place every time I slept. I was finally starting to not get stuck here each time, and now I'm on my way back.

"Wait, take this." Henry handed me the necklace.

"Thanks, kid. I'll be back soon." I watched the wand wave in front of my face. Then it was darkness.

When I was finally aware of my surroundings, I was back in the red room. It felt even hotter than I remember. It felt even lonelier than before. I clutched the necklace and tried to calm myself down. The flames settled down some. That's when I saw her across the room. Aurora.

"Aurora!" I shouted and got her attention. I moved closer, hopping over some flames. I almost lost my balance, but I stayed on my feet.

"Phoenix?" I know she wasn't expecting to see me. "You're alive!"

"Me? I'm surprised you are. I figured you were as good as dead." She shook her head and I flinched when the sound of flames increased.

"No, I was saved by David and Snow that day. I got out before you woke up." That made me feel so much better.

"That's why I never saw them. Hook never said they helped. I guess he wanted to take all the credit. Classic Hook." I chuckled, and the flames rose up high. We both screamed, and I needed to focus on what I was supposed to be doing here.

"Why are you here, though?" She shouted over the flames.

"To give a message. Rumple said that the answer was in the dungeon where he was kept. It's squid ink. That it would buy you some time." She nodded, and we heard a voice.

"I'm waking up." Aurora said in a panicked voice.

"If you see Hook, tell him I'm alive. Tell him I love him. He has to know." Her body became see-through and she was floating away.

"Phoenix!"

"Aurora! Remember what I said!" Then she disappeared. The flames rose once again, and I awoke with a gasp. I sat up on the bed, trying to catch my breath. My father had his hand on my shoulder. Tears formed in my eyes.

"It's okay. You're okay, dear." My father's voice was comforting. I rested my head on his shoulder.

"I gave them the message. Please don't make me go back in there. I hate it so much." My arm started stinging, and I looked down, seeing it was burned. It seems like the necklace can only do so much. My father waved his hand over it, and the burn was gone. I smiled, but it quickly faded when my stomach started churning. They saw my face, and David found me a bucket.

"Are you sure you're not pregnant?" David tried making a joke. I gave him a glare and he laughed. "Only kidding. You should go back to bed. That's been enough stress for one day." I nodded and looked at my father.
