~The Enchanted Forest (Past)~

I could hear people talking, but I couldn't move. I couldn't even open my eyes. I tried anything, but nothing worked. I didn't know what was going on. I didn't know who was around me. Or if I was just imagining things. I tried to listen to what was being said. I only heard one thing. It was Hook's voice.

"Take off the cuff. She needs her magic." I knew he was talking to the Evil Queen. Suddenly, all my power flowed through me. A wave of relief washed over me as I gasped for air. My lungs sucking in as much air as I could. I opened my eyes as I sat up. Looking around, my eyes landed on Hook. He had concern written all over his face. He had a red mark around his eye that looked like it was starting to bruise. Tears sprang my eyes.

"You saved me." He pulled me close and hugged me tightly. I didn't want to let him go.

"I'll always save you, love. That's a promise." He whispered in my ear.

"As much as I'm glad you're awake now, I need to break up this reunion." I heard my mother's voice say. I pulled back from Hook and met her gaze. We both stood up off the ground. My hand continued to hold Hook's.

"You're going to leave us alone." I demanded. She started laughing.

"Or what? You can't hurt me." I laughed and looked down, squeezing Hook's hand, and I let it go.

"You took off the cuff, remember?" I said and used my magic to make her fly black onto the ground. I felt so strong. My body was giving off a white glow. I started walking towards her, and she got up. She held a fireball in her hand. "Is that all you can do? Do you think a fireball is going to scare me?" My hands faced up as I shot magic from them. The power rose up above me, creating a glowing orb. I shot the orb at her, and it sent a shockwave through her, which made her fall backward once again.

"You don't want to do this." she said with a grunt.

"Oh...that I do. Watching you suffer would be the cherry on top of my day." I blasted the walls around her, which made tiny rocks fly out, hitting her. The wind blew around us, and I continued to use that and create a small tornado. I pushed it towards her. It sucked her in, and she was stuck inside it. With a flick of my hand, I made her disappear. The room was silent apart from my heavy breathing. I turned to face Hook. He looked stunned. Then, a smile appeared on his face. He ran towards me and hugged me, spinning us around. I giggled, and he put me back down. He leaned down and kissed me hard. His lips were soft. His beard scratched my face as we kissed. He held me as close as he could. His hand moved to the back of my head. His hand rested there. There were so many emotions between us. Words couldn't begin to explain how we both felt. I pulled back from the kiss.

"We should probably go. I don't know how long she is going to be gone." He nodded.

"Aye, love. Let's set sail. The crew is awaiting our return." I pulled him in for another kiss.

"I love you, Killian."

"I love you too, Phoenix." I used my magic and teleported us to the ship. It was a mess that the crew was cleaning up. Barrels were knocked over; glass was broken.

"What happened?" I said as I went to help them clean up.

"I may or may not have lost my temper." He scratched his nose, looking down.

"Well, you saved me. That's what matters." I picked up some of the barrels. "We can put this place behind us. I don't think she'll mess with us again." Hook looked relieved. I watched him carefully as he walked over to me. The confidence in his steps. He held my hand, and our fingers laced between each other's.

"I never want to lose you again. I was so scared. I thought I wasn't going to be able to save you." I reached my hand up to his face, and he shut his eyes as he leaned into my touch.
