~~Storybrooke (Present)~~
I groaned as the back of my head throbbed. My face felt hot and I opened my eyes, but all I could see was darkness. I looked around, but saw nothing. I felt something was over my head. I didn't hear anything apart from the sound of a ticking. My breathing accelerated and I tried to remove the thing that was over my head, but quickly realized I was tied down. I couldn't move. I felt panic run through me. I pulled at what felt like ropes, to try to escape. It didn't work. I wanted to cry. I wanted to scream. I didn't know what was happening.
"Actually, I'd prefer it with the lights on." I heard Hook's voice next to me. I attempted to calm myself down enough to use my magic. I took a few deep breaths and focused on the ropes. Nothing happened. I tried once more and it was the same outcome. I struggled against the ropes, and it got harder to breath. I felt tears threaten to spill over my eyes. I couldn't help but feel I was trapped by my mother back in the castle.
"Let me go!" I shrieked as I was gasping for air. The cloth over my head not helping at all. I took as big of a deep breath as I could and focused all my energy on escaping. My arms got hot quickly and then the ropes ripped apart and I was free. I quickly ripped the cloth from my head and felt the cool air on my face. My hands rested on my knees as I kept my head down, trying to catch my breath.
"Are you really afraid of the dark?" I heard Tamara ask almost like she was concerned. I doubt it. My head snapped up and I leaned back against the wall.
"I'm working on it." My breathing was getting back to normal. "Why did you tie me up if I could just escape? And when did you knock me out?" I rubbed the back of my head.
"I've spent enough time below deck to know not to be afraid of the dark, so if this is your idea of torture, you're going to have to try a little harder." Hook answered in a mocking tone.
"Well, it seemed like it was torture for her." The man said with a chuckle and I closed my fist causing him to lose oxygen.
"I'd stop that Phoenix." Tamara threatened.
"Then tell him not to laugh at me or I will crush his lungs." I threatened right back and released him in which he started coughing.
"We need both of you to listen to us." I had forgotten Hook was still tied up. I raised my hand, but Tamara stood in front of me. "I wouldn't do it." I rolled my eyes and put my hand down.
"What's going on?" Hook demanded. "Why won't you use your magic against them?"
"She's on our side." Tamara grinned.
"Okay, don't start rumors. You're not exactly giving me a choice here." I crossed my arms. "What do you guys want? To torture us? I don't see why." The man spoke up, now that he got himself together.
"Torture? We want to offer you a job."
"And then you're going to let me go?" He asked in a sarcastic voice. "Sorry, already did that last job. I killed Rumpelstiltskin. I'm sated." I bit my lip to keep from talking. Hook didn't know my father survived.
"Wait, they like hired you?" I asked now more confused.
"In a way." Tamara said simply. "I wish I could have been there. To see you stab the Dark One." Hook's face changed to surprise.
"Look at you getting up to speed. Then you know my work is done." He said angrily. They both grabbed his chair and pulled him to the clock window.
"Take a look." The man said and handed him the spy glass. He took it begrudgingly. I stood quietly, waiting for the words to come out of Hook.
