~~Storybrooke (Present)~~

We made our way back to the cannery. A different part that looked like a big boiler room. Tanks and machines powered up. As we walked we heard some metal clanking together. We all hid behind some barrels and David took out his gun. We saw a shadow of someone approaching and David stepped out, as did Hook and me.

"The beans. Give them to me." David said as he pointed his gun and Mendel.

"You mean these?" He said as he took the small jar from his pocket. A gunshot from behind us went off and we all ducked. Turning around to see Tamara standing there. David ran after her, and I was suddenly hit in the back and knocked down with a grunt. I got up as Hook had punched Mendel in the face which made him drop the jar and it shattered on the ground, spilling the few beans that were left. I quickly ran over and snatched one up as Mendel had grabbed the other ones. Mendel had managed to push Hook off of him and ran away with the other beans. I helped Hook up and we followed down the same path. We found David who was on the ground. I helped him up and he tried to run after them, but I held him back.

"What are you doing? They have the beans." He shook my grip off of him.

"Not all of them. I snagged one." I said and put it inside Hook's pouch.

"Where are the rest?"

"All we need is one." David went to move again, but Hook stopped him this time. "Live to fight another day, mate." David shoved him back.

"I'm not your mate." David said aggressively as he grabbed the small pouch which held the bean and we made our way to Granny's where everyone else was. We rushed in and Emma was talking to Henry. I stood back and listened.

"She won't survive." This got my attention.

"No. No." He stuttered as he looked crushed.

"I'm sorry, Henry. I promised your mother I'd get you to safety along with your sister." I rolled my eyes as I was more than capable of taking care of myself.

"We can't do that. She's family. We don't leave family behind. We helped her defeat the wraith, how is this any different?"

"The wraith? We banished it before, why can't we do the same thing with the self destruct crystal." Mary Margarette said with confidence.

"It's too risky. No one will go alone with it." Emma explained. Archie had took a moment to speak.

"Yes we will. Snow White and Prince charming have always led us before. And we've always won. Who's ready to let them do it again?" I wasn't one to have blind faith. I didn't know them that well from my world. There's no telling the outcome of this, and I don't want to be a part of it, if it'll cost me my life. I'd rather be with Hook until our time runs out.

"Okay." Emma agreed. David threw the pouch to Emma and Hooked caught it, taking it from them. Emma went after Hook and I stepped in front of her.

"You're all mad. I can life with myself." Hook said as he leaned his elbow against my shoulder, showing them that we were not going to give in so easily.

"I say if she wants to die for us, then let her." I argued back, knowing full well I wouldn't have to deal with her anymore.

"We're doing this. It might be stupid. It might be crazy. So, you guys can join us and be a part of something or you can do what you do best, and be selfish pirates." I glanced at Hook and he looked at me. I didn't want to do it. I wanted to leave right then and get the hell away from this place. I moved my head slightly to tell Hook to give it to her.

"Quite passionate Swan." Hook said. "Why are you really doing this?"

"The kid just lost his father, I'm not letting him lose a mother today too." I remembered they told me earlier.
