A month later,
Bucky and the science club had gone on their field trip. Their field trip was to Pacific Science Center and afterwards they had dinner at Buca Di Beppo. Miranda's car was in the shop and her parents worked at the hospital. They knew James and trusted Bucky to bring her home when they were done.
Bucky pulled into her driveway, "Thank you coach Barnes." She said
"Welcome. You did good today making sure the trip ran smoothly." He said
She smiled as she looked down as she tried to find her keys. Before she could open the door Bucky stopped her.
He leaned in, and kissed her. She began to kiss back as she cupped his cheek the kiss deepend. He pulled away, and he realized what he had done.
"Miranda I'm so sorry..I shouldn't of...oh my God I crossed a line." He said as he sat back in his seat.
"It's okay..nobody is going to know." She whispered
He looked at her, "You can't tell anyone that happened. We just need to pretend like it didn't happen ok?" He said
"I won't tell a soul. And I can do that." She said
"Good. Good night." He said as she got out of the car.
After he left her house he went to a meeting, and had Zantana go with him.
