Two years later,
James surprised Winnie with a trip to Venice on their two year anniversary.
"Surprise." He said as they landed
"James! Oh my gosh! I love you! This is wonderful!" Winnie said as she kissed him.
"I love you baby." He said as they got off the plane.
They checked into the St Regis Hotel in Venice. James pulled out all the stops for their romantic getaway. They enjoyed the sights, and all the food. On their last night there he took her out to ristorante Lineadombra restaurant.
After dinner they went out on the canal at sunset. While on the boat, he got Winnie distracted enough for him to pull out a ring.
"Elowyn Bianca Denton, I love you. From the moment I laid eyes on you I knew you were something special. I want to spend the rest of my life loving you." He said
Winnie gasped as he opened up a ring box, "Will you marry me baby?'" He said
Inside the ring box was a huge emerald green ring. "yes!" She said as tears fell down her cheeks.
They shared a kiss and enjoyed the rest of the boat ride with huge smiles.
