Just a few hours later Bucky found himself at his sponsor Jason Mattingly's house sweating and shaking.
"Bucky come in I already got Chinese and peanut butter pie for you.
"It's been a bad day." Bucky said
"James you don't look good." Jason said as he let him in.
They ate the food and pie, then he had Bucky sit on his couch.
Jason gave him a glass of water, "What is it that you want right now?" Jason said
"A shot of tequila, pills maybe a joint..or coke. Just something to take the edge off." He said
"What has triggered you?" Jason said
"Everything! My life is a mess right now Jay! I should be happy I have my son..but with Susie's death last Christmas then Zantana's last weekend. I jumped into a relationship with someone and proposed to her after four months cause I was trying to move past someone else who I hurt deeply and now I want her back cause I truly loved her. But I can't Jay cause she was a student now she is clear across the country..and I just want to go be with my sister.." he said
"James look at me. We are going to a meeting let's go I will drive you cause right now I don't trust you going alone." Jason said
Jason helped him into his car and they drove to a meeting. Two hours later they returned to Jason's house so he could get his car.
"Thank you Jay." Bucky said
"Anytime that's what I'm hear for. And by the way end things with your fiancee before you end up with another divorce. Go see your therapist too." Jason said
"Yeah I know." Bucky said as he got in his car.
He picked up Mason from his sister's and grabbed some dinner on their way home.
