Two months later,
Shortly after getting medical school started Winnie woke up sick as a dog. The smell of breakfast that James was cooking made it worse. Instead of going to class they went to the ER.
"When was your last period Mrs Barnes?" The ER doctor said
"Oh..um let me think." She said
"Right before the wedding baby. You were on it the week before the wedding cause it was a week early. Remember you were so relieved about it." James said
"Oh yeah that's right." She said
"Ok..we will have you take this pee stick to the bathroom after we draw some blood." The ER doctor said
Thirty minutes later, the ER nurse came in and said "According to this pee stick you are pregnant. So we are sending you to radiology."
"Pregnant?" Winnie whispered
"That was fast.." James said
They were sent to radiology, and they had a ultrasound done. She was eight weeks pregnant.
Seven months later, Winnie and James welcomed their first son Brady James.
