Three weeks later,
Miranda had to turn in science club paperwork since Bucky was the head teacher over the club she had to go see him. When she was about to walk into his classroom she heard giggling and whispers.
She looked to see her English teacher and cheer coach Ms Claire Matthews as they shared a kiss.
"Last night was amazing. And thank you for dinner. The kids had fun." Claire said as she sat on his desk.
"They did, Morgan is adorable by the way. She looks just like you." He said as he sipped his coffee.
She flipped her hair and it revealed a Hickey, Miranda watched as he pulled her hair back down.
"Might want to hide that darlin." He said as he kissed her.
Miranda felt sick, and left. During her study hall she found Wanda who had planning during that period.
"Coach Wilson?" She said
"Miranda, what can I help you with?" She said as she stopped working on lessons.
"Um, here I went to turn this in to Coach Barnes this morning but he was busy. And um here you can just um give Taylor president duties I'm stepping down. I don't want to be in the club anymore I'm sorry." She said with a shaky voice.
"Miranda is everything okay?" Wanda said
"Yeah, um I just have a lot on my plate so I need to let some stuff go." She said
"Honey are you sure? You look like you are about to cry." Wanda said
"Yeah I'm sure." She said as she laid her president folder down and walked away.
After school, Wanda found Bucky about to head to his office.
"Barnes." She said
"Hey Wanda what's up?" He said
"We have a problem. Miranda quit the science club this morning she turned in everything and said to let Taylor take over. She trying so hard to not cry." Wanda said
"Did she say why?" He said as his heart raced.
"Just that she had a lot on her plate and that she had to let some things go. She said she came by your classroom this morning but she said that you were busy." Wanda said
Bucky looked at her confused, "She didn't come by my classroom I never saw her." He said
"Well she did. You must of been busy talking to a student or another teacher." She said
Bucky now knew what pushed her, "I'll talk to her.." he said as he remembered Claire was in his classroom.
He found Miranda in the library studying, and sat down.
"You quit the club cause you are mad at me? You dropped my class too." He whispered
"Just leave me alone." She whispered without looking at him.
"Miranda? Don't do this..don't be immature about this now. You told me that you are very mature for your age and I saw that in you. So please come back to the science club." He whispered
"No..just go make out with Ms Matthews and leave me alone." She whispered as she gathered her stuff up and left.
"Damn it.." he whispered as he fought tears.
