Chapter Twelve: Case FIle: Omissions

On October 14, 1995, Sawada Tsunayoshi was born. He has light brown hair, described as very soft - silky, almost - to the touch. His eyes are wide and brown. He cries, as infants do, but only upon necessity. He shies away from attention that isn't from his mother, Sawada Nana. He is smart for an infant and can discern people based on their voices. He seems unable to perceive much colour, but blue stimulates him the most.

Sawada Tsunayoshi follows normal milestones as he grows almost to a T. He first walks when it's predicted he'll walk. His first word - 'Mama' - is pronounced when it's predicted to be. Reading comes naturally, even if it is just normal baby books. He's attentive when he's being talked to and he even responds accordingly and to the best of his ability.

Emotions are an oddity to him. He knows when his mother is sad or angry or happy and he reacts accordingly. His own emotions, though, he seems to have trouble processing. He cries only in necessity and giggles when upset. He's almost always smiling or holding a poker face. The colour pastel orange upsets him.

On October 14, 1998, Sawada Tsunayoshi turned three. He's taken from his cradle between eleven-thirty and eleven-fifty that night. Sawada Nana and Sawada Iemitsu had gone to bed at eleven in the room next door. He is taken to the Estrano Labs in Italy.

Sawada Tsunayoshi is stripped of his name and identity. He is called Twenty-Seven. He is imprisoned with a child one year older who is called One-Hundred. He introduces himself as Byakuran.

On October 14, 1999, Sawada Nana and Iemitsu adopted a four-year-old boy. They named him Sawada Ieyasu after Iemitsu's great-great-great-grandfather. Tsunayoshi turns four. Ieyasu doesn't remember his adoption or the life he had before he was Sawada Ieyasu. He processes his emotions as any toddler does. He cannot tell when his mother is feeling upset rather than happy. He reads at the level of a normal four-year-old. He speaks Japanese as well as a normal four-year-old. Tsunayoshi learns Italian to survive.

On October 20, 1999, Twenty-Seven and One-Hundred gained a new cellmate. One-Hundred calls her Yuni. The scientists call her One. Twenty-Seven calls her sister. Twenty-Seven calls One-Hundred brother. The scientists don't like this and punish him.

On October 12, 2000, CEDEF raided the Estrano Labs. Rokudo Mukuro escaped his confines and killed the scientists. He frees the other children and tells them to run. The children wade through dead bodies and blood to make it outside. They see snow. The children are rescued and taken to the nearest orphanages if nearby Famiglie won't take them in. They are counted and matched with files from inside the base. Tsuna, Byakuran, and Yuni run from the adults. Twenty-Seven, One-Hundred, and One are missing.

On October 14, 2000, Sawada Ieyasu is told it's his birthday. He turns five. Tsuna turns five. There is no celebration.

On November 12, 2000, Gamma of the Giglio Nero ran into three children in the streets. Two of them match the descriptions of Byakuran of the Gesso and Yuni of the Giglio Nero.He doesn't know the brown haired boy with them. He approaches them. They run away from him. He takes them home. Tsuna leads him to Byakuran and Yuni during the night and tells Gamma to take care of them for him. Tsuna leaves. The brunet runs away. Gamma doesn't give chase.

On December 4, 2000, Vongola Nono requested information from Gamma of the Giglio Nero.

On December 6, 2000, the case file of Sawada Tsunayoshi gained another lead.

On February 18, 2001, Fredrico di Vongola was killed.

On March 31, 2001, Tsuna disappeared from the streets of Italy. Tsunayoshi of the Vongola takes his place.
