Chapter 50: (your pov)

The transition back to my world was disorienting. One moment, I was standing beside Soobin in the basement of the Jeon residence, and the next, I was thrown into the familiar surroundings of my own room. The sudden shift left me momentarily stunned, but the realization hit me hard: Aaira must be living here as me.

I had to find her. I had to reclaim my life. I pushed Soobin aside a little, the urgency of the situation driving my actions.

Soobin: Y/n, wait-

But I didn't have time to explain. I rushed inside my closet, my heart pounding. Everything about my room smelled the same as it always had-my scent, my belongings. It was a strange mixture of comfort and fury. Comfort in the familiarity, but fury at the thought of Aaira living here, pretending to be me.

I tore through my closet, yanking clothes off hangers, searching for any sign of her. When I found nothing, I moved to my bed, looking underneath and around the corners. The panic was growing. I checked the bathroom, the bathtub, every nook and cranny, but she was nowhere to be found.

Soobin watched me, concern etched on his face. He stepped forward, trying to calm me.

Soobin: Y/n, you need to take a breath. We'll find her, you're not wholly healed, at least get yourself done ?

I paused, my breathing ragged. He was right. I had to stay calm. But the anger and betrayal were hard to control. How he has the audacity to say things to me after what he said earlier to me.

Y/n: I need to send her back !

Soobin: Y/n, Calm down ?

Y/n: I need to send her back, why aren't you understanding.

My body was shaking with fear. The thought of Jungkook coming here to take his wife before it's too late was consuming me. We needed to send her back. My breaths became uneven, the room spinning around me.

My heart started pounding. It felt like my ribs were closing in, squeezing the air out of my lungs. My vision blurred, dark spots dancing at the edges.

Every thought of Jungkook finding Aaira here, he would stop at no less but to kill me, made my breathing more erratic. My throat tightened, and I could barely get a breath in. Panic gripped me, squeezing until I couldn't think, couldn't see straight.

Then, everything went black. I collapsed to the floor with a thud.

When I regained consciousness, Soobin was kneeling beside me, his face etched with worry.

Soobin: Y/n! Are you okay?

I tried to sit up, my body weak and trembling.

Y/n: We need to send her back, Soobin. We need to do it before Jungkook finds out.

Soobin: We'll find her. But you need to stay calm and focus. Panicking won't help.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. He was right. I had to stay focused. The fear of Jungkook finding us first was real, but panicking wouldn't help.

Y/n: Okay. But we need to hurry. We can't let her stay here any longer.

Soobin helped me to my feet,

Soobin: Let's search the rest of the house. She has to be here somewhere.

We started our search, room by room. First, we went through the living room, checking every possible hiding spot behind furniture, under the couches, and even in the small spaces where she could have concealed herself. It was eerily silent, the emptiness of the house pressing down on us.
