Chapter 39: (Your pov)

The next morning, I woke up feeling even more tired than the night before. The first light of dawn came through the curtains, making the room look soft and calm. I had barely slept, with the words from the diary still loud in my mind. They just wouldn't leave me alone.

There was a knock on the door, and the maids came in quietly. They started getting everything ready for my bath and laid out fresh clothes for me. I sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes, and nodded at them to show I knew they were there. One of the maids smiled and said.

Maid: Good morning, my lady. Your bath is ready.

I nodded again and forced a smile.

Y/n: Thank you.

As I walked into the bathroom, the warm steam from the hot water surrounded me. It felt nice, and I hoped it would help me forget everything for a little while. But then I saw the mirror. My heart almost stopped. Written on it, in big red letters, were the words: "4 days."

Fear shot through me. What did it mean? Who was writing these messages? I blinked hard, hoping the words would disappear, but they stayed right there. Jungkook was still sleeping in the bed, then who it could be ?

I could hear the maids moving around outside, and I knew they would come in soon. I didn't have much time. My heart was pounding as I grabbed a cloth and turned on the faucet. I soaked the cloth in water and started scrubbing the mirror, trying to get rid of the message as quickly as I could.

Just as I finished, one of the maids walked in. I quickly threw the cloth into the sink and tried to look calm.

Maid: Is everything alright, my lady?

She asked, looking at me with a kind expression. I forced another smile, even though I was still scared inside.

Y/n: Yes, everything's fine. Thank you.

She nodded and helped me into the bath. The warm water felt nice and soothing, making me feel a bit better. As I lay back, trying to relax, my mind kept going back to the message. Four days. What was going to happen in four days?

The maids kept working, getting things ready without noticing how scared I was. I had to stay calm and act like everything was normal. There was no room for mistakes. As the warm water made my muscles relax, I decided I needed to find out who was leaving these messages and what they meant. Time was running out, and I needed to get some answers.

After my bath, I got dressed with the help of the maids. They picked out a simple but elegant dress for me, and I let them do their work. My mind was still busy thinking about the mirror and the message.

I was sitting at the large dining table, picking at my breakfast. The aroma of fresh bread and coffee filled the room, but I couldn't focus on the food. My mind was still racing with thoughts of the mysterious message on the mirror. The room was quiet except for the clinking of my spoon against the bowl.

I had breakfast in the dining room, but I couldn't really taste the food. I kept thinking about what I should do next. I needed to be careful and not let anyone know what was going on. Jungkook and his family couldn't suspect anything.

One by one, Jungkook's brothers began entering the dining room. They looked well-dressed and ready for some outing. Lord Kim Namjoon and Lord Jung Hoseok, the twins, walked in first, talking quietly between themselves. Lord Min Yoongi & Lord Kim Seokjin followed, looking as calm and composed as ever. Then came Lord Park Jimin and Lord Kim Taehyung, chatting animatedly. Each of them greeted me with a polite nod before taking their seats.

Their wives entered shortly after, all dressed elegantly and with bright smiles. They took their places beside their husbands, making the room feel even more lively. Despite the cheerful atmosphere, I felt out of place, an outsider in this world of luxury and secrets. I watched all of them chewing my food silently.
