Chapter 25: (your pov)

After the maids left, I went back to my room feeling confused and worried. I grabbed Aaira's diary, hoping it might have some answers. Outside, it was still raining hard, but I saw Soobin riding a horse in the backyard. He looked calm, which made me feel a bit better. I smiled at him before focusing on the diary again.

Opening the diary, I felt nervous. I knew it might have some scary stuff in it. But I had to try. Each page I turned felt like a step closer to finding out what happened. Even with the storm outside, seeing Soobin riding made me feel a bit safer. But I knew I had to keep reading to figure things out.

Dear journal,

As the morning sun peeked through the curtains, I woke up feeling Jungkook's arms around me. It was nice and cozy, like a warm hug. We were both naked, and the sunlight made everything look beautiful. As we both got freshened up, we were at the dining table eating peacefully. But then, someone from Jungkook's team barged in with some urgent news. Jungkook got really angry all of a sudden and had to leave quickly.

I watched him rush around, getting dressed and ready to go. It felt strange and sad to see him go so suddenly. After he left, the room felt empty and quiet. I couldn't stop worrying about what had happened and when he would come back.

Alone in the room, I tried to make sense of everything. The morning sun was still shining, but it didn't feel as nice anymore. I just hoped Jungkook would be okay and come back soon.

As Jungkook had to leave in a hurry today, leaving Aimin, Annabelle, and me all by ourselves. It's always a bit unsettling when he has to rush off like that, but Mafia works, always sucks.

Let's change the topic,

Not gonna lie, Aimin is growing so fast; it seems like only yesterday he was learning to crawl, and now he was babbling away, trying to mimic our words. He's such a curious little thing, always exploring his surroundings and getting into mischief. Oh my gosh, I flinched so bad, my heart stopped for a moment cause something fell outside.

I look behind me but neither Aimin nor Annabelle was here in the room, i remember they were here right ? Annabelle seems to have taken a liking to him, often curling up next to him as he plays.

I'll go and see what's up with both of them... Ah got them, they were near the door, playing with each other, it's such a relief. I made them both sit beside me they are playing. Who's in the kitchen ? I heard things falling in the kitchen. Annabelle is with me, maids are out shopping ?

Today, there's been a disturbance in the background. I can hear things falling, a series of strange noises that echo through the house. At first, I thought it might be the wind rattling the windows, but the sounds are too irregular for that. It's like something-or someone-is moving about, causing a ruckus.

I've tried to ignore it, focusing instead on jotting down Aimin and Annabelle, but the disturbance grows louder, more persistent. I guess the sounds are getting too loud to ignore now. Perhaps I should investigate and make sure everything is alright.

I'll put down my pen for now and see what's causing all this commotion. I'll continue this entry once I've checked on things.

Jeon Aaira.

"

As I read through Aaira's diary, my heart raced with worry. The words painted a vivid picture of the morning she described, with Jungkook rushing off suddenly, leaving her alone with Aimin and Annabelle. But what caught my attention the most was the mention of a disturbance in the background, strange noises that seemed out of place. Could this be connected to Aimin's disappearance?
